All I Want

Kabanata 2

I went home alone that night.

Our days continued like what happened in the cafeteria never really happened or maybe I was just overreacting to things? Especially seeing them all normal.

Wala ring kakaiba na kay Casimir, he even said his apologies to me kinabukasan noong nakalimutan niya akong sunduin, he told me he had an urgent call from his family.

His treatment to me never falter, animo'y parte na ito ng kaniyang buhay at ako naman ay malugod na malugod na tinatanggap ito, and I wish that this will never change.

And now I am just waiting for him here in the parking lot, nag-aya kasi siyang kumain bago kami umuwi, Isa sa mga nakasanayang gawin namin bago kami umuwi. May tinatapos lang si ang meeting ng mga kaklase niya, we were both in Business Course but we are in different block.

I immediately smiled as I saw him nearing me.

"Hi, I'm sorry, naghintay ka ba ng matagal, little Ilah?" His words as he kissed my hair.

"Not really, kakarating ko lang din."

We then proceeded to his car.

" Saan mo gustong kumain? "

"Tokyo-Tokyo"I said while giggling. I'm a fan of japanese foods so it was my go-to place when I want to eat some Japanese food, beside's it much more affordable rather than some highclass restaurants. Nakakahiyang ililibre niya na lang ako sa mamahalin pa.

I mean, may kaya naman kami and I can afford to buy luxurious things but I am not in the same level with the  Velasco's wealth, Casimir's family.

They own several companies and they are even starting to to produce more outside the country, meanwhile my Daddy is a successful Architect and my Mom is a fashion designer.

Our parent's actually the reason why we got closed, Daddy worked with Tito Martin, Casimir's Daddy as an Architecture in few of their projects, meanwhile my Mom and Tita Libitina immediately clicked because of their fashion sense, and Tita even let Mom designs clothes for her. So

We then arrived in the mall and we directly did go to the place where we will eat.

"I heard may pumoporma raw sayong lower batch na Educ, Ilah?" he asked while we eat.

"Huh? Kanino mo narining?"

"From Lilith, they we're talking about it earlier."

"Oh, It's just Tam, he was asking me nicely if we can go out on the Valentine's Day."

"You agreed?"

"Hindi, para namang hindi mo ako kilala, having a boyfriend right now isn't my priority."

In fact, I am completely fine and hally with this situation of us.

"But it's okay if you want to try to be in  a relationship, it's good to experience things too." Casimir said.

"Eh, ikaw nga wala ring girlfriend ilang taon na, puro ka fling." Ayaw mo ba akong jowain? I almost blurted out the last sentence.

"Nah, committing to someone ask for a lot of things that soon will be a distraction with my studies."

"Then, the talk is done. Hindi rin ako mag cocommit kasi distraction lang yan" He then laughed with what I said.

"You are really is amusing."

And when we finished eating, I can't help but to hold my stomach because I am so full with what we ate.

"Ah, karaage is really the best, Sarap!" I said.

"Sarap talaga, mukha ka na ngang manok eh." He said teasingly. Agad ko naman siyang inirapan, nagpapaganda ako para sa kaniya tas sasabihan niya akong mukhang manok, ugh?!

"Ikaw naman mukha ng hipon kaka-tempura mo" Of course I didn't mean it, gwapo niya kaya kaso minsan sarap din niyang batukan.

"So where we will go next? Uuwi na ba tayo?" He asked me as we walk out of Tokyo-Tokyo.

"Hmm, ikaw bahala."

"Maybe we should watch a movie muna bago umuwi? I heard there's a new good movie." He said.

"Wag na, pag nanonood naman tayo nasa kalagitnaan palang yung movie ang daldal daldal mo na, kini-critique mo lahat ng nangyayari sa kuwento, tapos kapag hindi maganda hanggang sa pag uwi jinujudge mo yung buong movie, even the camera angle mygosh!"
I said harshly to him.

Totoo naman eh, iilan palang yata ang mga movie na pumasa sa panlasa niya. Sa sobrang daming beses na naming nanood sa sinehan, makita ko palang yung itsura niya habang nagsisimula palang ang storya, alam ko na ang kauuwian it's either magdadaldal siya mas maganda yung movie at pupuriin niya lahat ng nandoon or magrereklamo at ipopoint out kung saan nangkulang or nagkamali ang buong production.

"Oh, come on Little Ilah, you know I love movies! Let's go and watch."

"Manonood lang tayo kapag hindi mo muna pupunahin yung story o huhulaan ang kasunod na scene habang nasa kalagitnaan ng movie."

"Sure! Let's go" At hinatak niya na nga ako papunta sa sinema and he immediately went to the ticket booth to buy tickets at ako naman nagkusa na bumili ng popcorn and drinks.

He picked a horror movie one, mahilig siya sa chick flicks and maarte din siya at hindi mabilis matakot so I am wondering if mapaninidigan niyang hindi siya magrereklamo while the movie is airing, Specially that I can already see that the girl who's I think the main character doesn't fit chick flicks genre, feeling ko mas bagay siya sa love story.

But the ticket he bought for the movie he liked will start the next show in 30 minutes so we had to wait.

And when it's already time we went in and find our seats.

Wala pa kami sa kalahati ng storya naririnig ko na ang kadaldalan niya.

"What kind of lighting is that? Horror to pero bakit ang lamya ng pagkadark ng ambiance? Wala na bang bagong  jumpscares ngayon? Naubusan na? Ang corny!"

I looked at him with my lips in a thin line. "Sabi mo di ka magrereklamo while the movie is ongoing?"

He immediately replied like he thinks I'm ridiculous, sa mga mata niya na sumisigaw ng tanong na bakit hindi pa ako nagrereklamo dahil pangit talaga pinapanood namin. "How am I gonna shut up if lighting na nga lanf hindi pa nila magawang maayos? "

I sighed and shook my head, pababayaan ko na lang 'to hindi naman titigil yan eh.

But of course, I can't help find him attractive, I can't help but look at him with so much adore, he looks so smart and serious while critiquing the story, kung titigan niya ang LED Screen amino'y isang paneliat na terror na isang pagkakamali mo lang ay rejected agad ang thesis mo.

I can't help but to be so happy as I witness everything of this.

And when the movie was done, here come's all the rants again.

"I like the overall idea of plot but the way they executed it? Is just so fucking plain. They have one job and that is to produce good movie and yet they can't even do it properly, might as well they should just all leave the media industry."

I sighed and just looked at the car's window and let him speak and speak.

"Right, little Ilah? They could've done so much better!"

I just know this will not end very soon.

And I am right, when I got home he even called me just so he can share all the things he pointed out in the movie.
