As Kanao opened her eyes she began to take in her surroundings, "Where am I?" She thought for a brief second as she then realized what happened last night and worked it from there, "Oh right, I'm at the Butterfly Mansion." She thought as she stood up in her bed and began to look around.

Around her bed stood Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Genya, waiting for her to wake up. "Kanao! You're awake!" Nezuko ran up to the bed-ridden girl and hugged her. She returned the hugged and Nezuko soon began to back off, waiting for her to speak. "Thanks guys... but I'm telling you... it wasn't all that bad... just a bruised shin..." She scratched her head. She pulled up the blanket to take a look at her shin, which was definitely injured in a fight, to see it bandaged up.

"Ehhe... is this really necessary?" She thought with a concerned gaze. She looked next to her to see a nightstand with a plate of food placed on it. She then looked back to the group to see Inosuke being aggressively held back by Genya from trying to eat her food. "Inosuke! You need to stop! The plate is for Kanao!" He struggled to keep the boar's flailing fist away from his face. "Inosuke! Stop!" A voice rung out from the stairs, it was Aoi with another plate of food.

"Instead of trying to take Kanao's food, take this..." She walked down the stairs, towards the man, and offered him the plate of food. "Wahhhhh! Really?!" His face lit up like a Christmas tree as he snatched the plate and rushed to a nearby bed to begin to devour it.

"Thanks, Aoi!" He waved over to her.

A silence felled between the other 5 people, busy trying to process how Inosuke managed to say her name right. Even Aoi was surprised as the last time this happened when a few months ago when Shinobu basically threatened Inosuke with a science "experiment" if he didn't behave.

Inosuke, on the other hand, was devouring the food happily with the same silly expression plastered on his face every time he ate one of Aoi's goods. "Why does he look so cute when he does that?!!!" Aoi thought with her mouth covered and her face turned away from the rest of the group. A noticeable blush streaked across her face as her heart rate went up which was noticed by Zenitsu.

"Someone has a crushhhh." He thought smugly with a cheeky smirk.

Kanao looked over to see Emiko administered next to Isamu and Akira. "Ah, Emiko-san. Hello there." She waved. Emiko noticed and waved back, "Hello, Kanao-san! Unfortunate to see you here though."

"Likewise. I'm perfectly fine, but I'm more worried about you since you had to deal with that man completely on your own."

"To be honest... I don't know what happened after I got knocked out, the only thing I remember was killing the demons I was fighting with and then get hit on the back of the hand by something hard..."

"Do you remember anything else?" Genya asked.

"I-I..." She stammered before she suddenly began to remember the nightmare she experienced when she had fought one of the demons. "Oh shoot... I'm sorry to ask, it's ok... you can forget about it for now..." Genya realized her change in expression, realizing he hit a weak spot. "N-no, it's fine." She tried to play off his apology but was still having trouble talking. "It's not fine, is it?" Isamu asked with a dead tone. "N-no no... it is." She was being backed into a corner and she knew it, and now that Isamu was involved, she would eventually have to open up.

"Please tell us what happened." Akira looked her with a solemn expression, a hand on her friend's lap as she tried to comfort her. "We won't be able to forgive ourselves if we can't help you with even the smallest things... so imagine what would happen if we can't help you with this..."

"O-ok... fine..." Emiko began to open up.

"Last night when I fought those two demons, one of them had a Blood Demon Art that put in this empty, black void," Emiko said. Meanwhile, the siblings were listening closely to what she had to say. "In that black void I-I saw my parents and siblings..." Emiko said the siblings then moved closer to her as soon as she said that. "They said th-hings about me that I couldn't handle..." She said as a single tear dripped from her face, "And you two were there too." Emiko added as her single tear was soon followed by another, "I was hurt because they were true!" She finally said as she began to cry her tears out. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I should have been there!" She said as she covered her face and tears continued to trail down her face, Akira hugged Emiko and Isamu patted her back, the others heard her crying and decided to walk over to get despite some of their injuries.

They then began to comfort her by telling her to calm down and that whatever she has been through is not real, "It's ok Emiko-chan, you don't have to cry..." Nezuko said with a little sadness on her face, "Emiko-chan be strong, whatever happened is gone, it's now in the past. It's not your fault" Kanao felt pity at her friend's current state.

"Emiko," Isamu said as Emiko looked up to meet his face, Isamu then grabbed Emiko's face with both of his hands and looked her dead in the eyes, "Whatever happened is fake, you saw nothing, you heard nothing." He said, "Whatever happens, I and Akira will always be by your side no matter what, and I am absolutely positive that your parents are proud of your right now," he added, "You are not the only one who lost their family in a demon attack Emiko, we know what it's like." Isamu said as he and Emiko both looked at Akira who only nodded, they then looked back at each other and Isamu spoke again, "We carry the guilt of our family's death, but the only thing that keeps us going is the will to avenge them." Isamu stated, "We need to keep living on, or else what they died for will be worth nothing!" Isamu said, Emiko was surprised at her friend's sudden rise in tone, "They will only way they will be disappointed is if we do not continue, do you want them to be mad at you?" Isamu questioned, Emiko shook her head. "Good, then stop crying and look up, your entire life is ahead of you, your parents wanted you to live your life to the fullest, even if they are not here," Isamu stated.

Isamu then let go of Emiko's face and backed away a little bit to let her talk, at this point, Emiko had stopped crying and wiped her dry tears, and began to speak. "Th-thank you Isamu, I really needed that..." Emiko said as she looked at her childhood friend, "I'm sorry for acting like this guys, I was just really hurt after what my parents said to me..." Emiko stated, "It's ok Emiko, we've all had that moment in time where we question whether all we are living for is worth it." Isamu said, "It's ok to cry Emiko, but you have to get back up one day..." Akira stated. "Thanks, you two, you're the best friends a girl to ever have," Emiko said as she looked at the group with a smile the group then dispersed and sat down on their respective beds and began to talk again.

"Hey, Zenitsu, Kanae nee-san wants to talk to you about something related to school work, can you go to her?" Aoi asked.

"U-Uhhh.. sure... but why?" He questioned, "I don't know! Just go!" She aggressively replied as if she was just trying to get him to leave as fast as he can. It seemed to work as the yellow-haired boy yelped a bit before running back up the stairs to see what his teacher had to say.

"Now that's dealt with... what really happened?" Aoi said in whisper to her sister as she closed in on her ear.

"We just talked a bit... nothing much..." Kanao replied. "That's it? Then why do you look so bat- oh my god you made it up didn't you...?" Aoi came to a sudden realization with look of shock on her face.

"Yep!" Kanao shouted quietly with a cheeky smile.

"Wow... this girl... she even starts to lie now... it seems like Tanjiro had a much more massive impact on her than I thought." Aoi thought with a smirk.

"What did you talk about?"

"He only wanted to know about the basics of the Demon Slayer corps. Like what are demons and why are Ninchirin swords so special when it comes to eradicating them."

"That's it? He could've just asked you when you met him like the other 49 times..."

"I know right? I wonder why he brought this up now."

"Anywho, he now owes me some food, so we'll be hitting up another 7/11 the next time we meet!"

"Another 7/11 meet-up? At this point, are guys going ou- Urk!" Aoi was about to finish her sentence when Kanao started to squeeze her cheeks tight, preventing her from speaking any more words. Her face a slightly redden from the comment as she covered her own mouth, trying to prevent any unnecessary noises from escaping. "Finish that sentence and I'll rip your lungs out." A deadly tone a that managed to terrify Aoi a bit had just escaped her sister's mouth.

"Ok, ok! I'll stop! Please let me go!" Aoi was practically begging, eager to escape her sister's murderous glare. "Holy shit... who knew she would get this pissed off... I know she likes Tanjiro... but still..." She thought as she slowly back off from her sister and created a gap between them.

The door to the basement opened up as the people in the infirmary turned their attention toward it. They looked up to see Zenitsu, Shinobu, and Kanae entering the infirmary, "Aoi, why did you tell Zenitsu-kun here that I had something for him? He was at my door for the past 2 or 3 minutes, waiting for me to come out." Kanae walked in with a curious expression.

"I thought you said that you wanted him to see you though?"

"No? I never said that."

"I thought you did... I guess it was something else then..." Aoi tried to act like she was trying hardly to remember a fake event as she stood still for a few seconds to think. "Whatever, I'm sorry for wasting your time Zenitsu." Aoi turned to the boy. "Eh, it's fine, I managed to get some tips for the next test with her, so all is fine." Zenitsu replied with a goofy laugh. "Wait... how come he got a tip?! Kanae nee-san never gave me one?!" She thought with a pout, a little out of jealousy for her sister's randomly-occurring bias.

Kanae walked up to her now-awake younger sister. "Guess who's finally up!" Kanae said with a gleeful smile as she patted her younger sister's head, "Stop..." Kanao said as she tried to get her sister's hands off her, "Ara ara, why so serious?" Kanae questioned, "I'm growing up now nee-san, I can't have my sister head-pat me like I'm some 5-year-old kid..." Kanao said with a pout, "No matter what, you will always be my little sister!" Kanae said as she started tickling her. Kanao started laughing a bit as she tried to get Kanae's hand off her, "Ok, ok, what do you need me for?" Kanao said as she chuckled after her sister finally stopped tickling her, "Oh yeah, we would like for you to come with us to the Hashira meeting because I heard that you guys met the man we were trying to find." Kanae said as she put her finger under her own chin.

"Shit." Kanao thought as she desperately tried to keep a calm composure and more importantly, maintain a steady heartbeat as the literal human lie-detector was right there (I'm talking about Zenitsu).  "I was about to go to the next Hashira meeting to tell you guys, about that, how convenient..." Kanao lied. "Really? That's nice!" Kanae replied. "Also nee-san, can I bring Aoi along since I don't like to be alone, I also get a bit nervous when I'm alone in the spotlight..." Kanao stated.

"B*tch WHAT?" Aoi looked at her sister, her face full of betrayal. Kanao just smiled at her, with an expression that clearly read, "If I'm going down, then you're going down with me."

"God dammit... I'll get you for this one day..." She thought with a frustrated look.

Kanae only nodded, "Sure you can, but first we need to do your checkups to see if you are doing fine, don't want to go to a Hashira meeting while feeling unwell, right?" Kanae stated, Kanao only nodded as her sister began her checkup.

Meanwhile, with Shinobu, she had just finished giving Isamu and Akira their last checkup. "Fast..." Isamu thought as she looked at Shinobu who was writing on a clipboard, "Alright, that should be it for today, and what do you know? You guys are free to leave the Butterfly Mansion." Shinobu said with a smile. "Really?! Thanks Shinobu-sama!" Akira said with a smile, "No problem Akira-chan, just doing my job." Shinobu replied. "You two can head to your home now if you want, or you can stay for a little bit and chat with the others," Shinobu stated. "We can go home for now, but we will come back every day to visit Emiko." Isamu said as Akira nodded, "Fine by you." Shinobu said as she gave Akira and Isamu their slayer clothing.

"What time is the meeting?" Kanao asked Kanae, "A few hours from now, better tell Aoi to hurry up or else we are going to be late." Kanae replied, "You hear that, Aoi? Hurry up!" Kanao tried to rush her sister, who was still sitting right next to her.

"Ok, ok, I'll get ready!"

"Is this what they call 'sibling rivalry', I'm suddenly getting the urge to punch her now..." Aoi thought as she walked back upstairs, with a very annoyed look to her expression and a fist slightly trembling on her side.

After 15 or so minutes, Kanao, Kanae, Shinobu, Aoi, Isamu, and Akira are standing at the front door of the mansion.

"Thank you for keeping us until we recover Kocho-sama!" Akira said as she and Isamu bowed to the sisters, "No problem! It's our job to help injured slayers until they recover!" Kanae said with a bright smile, "You two should also get going, you do live a considerable distance away from here right? Don't want to get attacked by demons after you just recovered." Shinobu said with a cheerful tone. Both Isamu and Akira nodded and opened the door and walked out, "Bye! See you on Monday Kanao and Aoi-chan!" Akira said as she turned around and waved and turned back to begin walking with her brother.

"Bye!" Aoi said back, Kanao waved at the two leaving siblings and then turned to their older sisters. "So are we going right now or..." Aoi said as she was interrupted by Kanae running out the door while cheering, "Yep! Come on!" Kanae said, the three looked at her with poker faces, but nevertheless followed their older sister.

As the four sisters were walking, they began to talk about the meeting they will soon attend. "So, how will we approach this?" Kanae said as she put one finger under her chin, "We'll just tell the others about what this man is capable of..." Kanao replied, "But how?" Kanae asked, "It's just our monthly Hashira meeting, we're allowed to talk about anything that relates to the corps." Shinobu said, "Ok, but if you two need help, be sure to tell us!" Kanae said as she turned to her younger sisters, "Nee-san... We're not 5..." Aoi said as she pouted along with Kanao, "Ok! If you say so!" Kanae cheerfully said as she turned around and began walking with a smile and a little "pip" in her step.

"She's happy..." Shinobu thought as she watched her older sister happily skip along to their destination. Shinobu smiled, "I'm glad the others happy as well." She turned around to see Aoi and Kanao chatting with each other, completely unaware of the growing sense of the urge to hit someone that was coming from the blue sister.

As the sisters were walking up a slope, they came across a cave that they would soon enter, they then saw a few other people there doing god knows what to each other.

Rengoku was talking with Tengen, Muichiro was looking in the distance at something, Gyomei was praying, Iguro and Sanemi were also talking, Mitsuri was looking at every male in the cave, and Giyu was...

Sitting alone in the corner like he usually does. As the sisters walked in, Shinobu ran up to Giyu and started poking him, "Ara ara, why do always sit in that corner Tomioka-san?" Shinobu questioned, Giyu didn't answer, which annoyed Shinobu a little bit. "Tomioka-sannnn, don't you know that it's rude to ignore people? This is why no one likes you." She teased as she started poking Giyu more, meanwhile, Kanae, Kanao, and Aoi walked up to the group as they sat down, and began to talk with each other.

"Hey, Kanae-chan!" Mitsuri said cheerfully, "Hello, Mitsuri-chan!" Kanae greeted back with the same tone. Kanae then turned to Sanemi who was a bit distracted with Iguro, so he didn't notice her. "Hello, Sanemi-kun!" Kanae said as she began poking the white-hair man, "Oh hey Kanae-san..." Sanemi said as he turned around, "Why so down?" Kanae asked with a littel concern in her voice, "I-im fine Kanae-san." Sanemi replied as he slightly turned away from her, a little blush on his cheek, "If you say so!" Kanae cheerfully state. "By the way, what are they doing here?" Sanemi asked as he pointed to Kanao and Aoi, "Don't be so rude Sanemi-kun, they're here because they have something important to tell us." Kanae said in an innocent voice, Sanemi blushed a little again and looked back due to Kanae's sudden change in tone, "V-very well..." He gave up trying to speak to her as he turned around to continue his conversation with Iguro. Meanwhile, Kanae greeted the other Hashiras and started talking with Mitsuri about their classes after she greeted the rest.

.

A few minutes later, a voice rang out through the entire cave, "Ubuyashiki-sama has arrived," a woman said as the Hashira and the two young butterfly sisters immediately went silent and looked ahead to where the voice was coming from. There they saw a young woman with white hair and purple eyes with white pupils, they all immediately began bowing as a tall man with pale skin, black hair, and a purple mark that spread all across his face walked in. "Master!" They all said while bowing, "Please stand up my children, you do not need to bow anymore." Kagaya said with a smile, the Hashira and the other two quickly stood up and looked at the man as if he was going to say something.

"Welcome to the monthly Hashira meeting my children, I hope you all are doing well and I pray for each and every one of your safety every day." Kagaya said, "Thank you, Master!" They all said in unison, "Now to start off this meeting, who would like to go first on reporting what they did for the past month." Kagaya said with a calm tone, some of the hashira raised their hands but Kagaya picked Tengen to go first, "Tengen, you may go first." He said as Tengen stood up and started talking, "I have flamboyantly killed some demons hiding out in the alleyway near the casino!" Tengen proudly stated, "What were you doing at the casino...?" Iguro asked, Tengen then froze and immediately looked back at Iguro, "That is none of your concern!" He said as he said back down and yelled, "Next!" Tengen nervously said, Kagaya chuckled a bit as he called on the next person, "Muichiro, you are up." He said, Muichiro then stood up, "I was patrolling the neighborhood that I live in and killed a few demons lurking about all month." He blandly said as he sat back down, "Very good my child, now Gyomei, would you like to go next?" Kagaya asked, "Yes, Master." Gyomei said as he stood up, "I killed 5 demons in the span of this month." Gyomei said as he sat down, "Very good Gyomei." Kagaya replied, he then called on the Kocho's who had their hands raised the entire time, "Yes, Kanae, Shinobu, Aoi, and Kanao, you four may come up please." Kagaya said as the four sisters stood up, "We also killed some demons in the duration of this month, but we do have some important information to share about our new threat." Kanae said as Kanao and Aoi came forward.

"During my mission last night, I and my team met the person who has been disrupting our ore supplies." Kanao said, "Mhm, and we do have some new info on this threat." Aoi added, the hashira except for Shinobu and Kanae focused on the two girls about what they were going to say next, "The man wears a tuxedo along with a cybernetic mask, he also possesses high agility and speed as he managed to disable me rather quickly."

"He seemed like he wasn't even trying now that I think about." Kanao had to recall the last time her and the man fought, that oh-so-embarrassing moment that left her without left after she went back that day. She remembered everything from how they met to how he treated the fight: as if it was just a mild annoyance.

Besides Shinbou and Kanae who lokoed rather serious (and Muichiro who was busy looking at a cave wall), the other Hashira seemed rather shocked a bit, not by the fact that he was stronger than one of their top slayers, but mostly by the fact he was wearing a suit and tie in this weather.

"A tuxedo? Where is this man going to? A ball?" Tengen questioned. "I know right, and at this time of year? He just sounds like a James Bond-wannabe!" Sanemi grunted while resting his face on his fist.

"But hold on, you said he had a cybernetic-looking mask? Why that? Out of all things? He could've gotten any mask but he chose to get something that would just make him look cringey as hell?" Iguro complained.

.
.

Meanwhile, with Tanjiro.

"I'm getting urge to remove someone's organs... why so suddenly...?"  He thought with a bloody axe in his hand.

"MFMMM MMMMM!!!"

"HEY, DON'T MOVE, I'M NOT DONE TALKING WITH YOU!"

"MNM MMM MMMMM!!!!"

*THUNK*

.
.

"It's part of his uniform... and he didn't get it off of Temu... it's legitimate technology that I can't explain properly..." Kanao thought with an exhausted wimper, already tired of trying to think about ways to not expose herself and her sister while at the same time give the Hashira info on the threat.

"Is that what we're concerned about now? Not about the fact that he managed to beat one of our strongest slayers?" Giyu genuinely looked very confused at his colleagues' banter about the unrelated part of the man. "Tomioka-san is right. We should focus on the real important matter." Gyomei's loud voice rung out through the hall, silencing any pre-existing talks at the moment. Even Muichiro was taken out of his train of thought and forced to listen.

"What was I doing here again...?" He thought

"He doesn't seem THAT bad of a threat to be worried about. Did you at least figure out why he was targeting our ore supplies?" Sanemi asked.

"Ehh... he did say that his... 'company' was interested in the properties of the ores... so they made him target the supply chain to gather some of them..." Kanao shrugged.

"What the hell is so special about Ninchirin ore? It's just iron ore that can absorb more sunlight than regular iron, meaning it doesn't rust as easily." Sanemi questioned.

"We don't know... it was just his mission apparently..." Aoi stepped in for Kanao at the moment. Though she was still kinda pissed at her for bringing her into this mess, she was still her sister and had to step for her in every now and then.

"But... considering that he did managed to fight you pretty casually... Tsuyuri, how would you rate his strength? Would any of us be able to take him on?" Iguro asked, now trying to take the meeting a bit more seriously than a certain someone.

Kanao pondered in thought for while.

"If I were to tell them that they wouldn't be a match for him even if they were able to team up... how would that go?"

"I've seen his strength multiple times, it's demon-like at this point..."

"Let's see... if were to tell them that... I would cause more trouble for him... he probably already knows that his existence will be reported eventually to the corps... he probably already has plans ahead for that..."

"But after knowing him for a while, he seems like a good person to ally with considering that he did tell me that what he does is for humanity... the only thing he ever gave me about his occupation..."

"And with that demon that appeared in front of me last night, I imagine it was him who tossed that thing there since I heard a loud crash when I was heading there. Meaning that he does see demons as enemies."

"He could've killed Emiko-san but didn't, and instead knocked her out, which could mean that he was being cautious between who needed to be killed and who only needed to be subdued."

"So... since he could be a potential ally in the future, saying that his strength is comparable to every Hashira combined might manage to invoke such a reaction that they actually start paying attention to him since they only see him as a minor nuisance as of the moment. And if everything goes good and the misunderstandings are cleared up, we might be able to see on similar terms and strike an alliance."

"An alliance with this man is probably the best thing that could happen to us considering that the gear his organization provided him is really high-tech, meaning they have a lot of money. And looking at our current state between the demons and slayers, we might need the extra hand or two..."

"Well... that's if he doesn't start killing slayers..."

"But I trust him... I think?"

"I should probably talk to him about this when we meet up next time... I just need to find a way to get rid of my crow when we do... it observes my every move..."

Kanao finally stopped thinking as her answer was now clear. "If I were to merely estimate his strength based on the fight alone, I would say he looks like he could take you all on at once..."

The cave went silent for a bit, everybody apart from the two girls on stage busy trying to process just what the hell she said. "Please don't joke around, Tsuyuri." Sanemi's forehead could be seen with several bulging veins, an entire whirlwind of fury being forcibly kept inside due to the fact that the person who angered him was his crush's sister. "I swear to you, I'm not. I may not be able to tell what he looks like from the fight due to this mask, but I could tell, as bright as day that he was holding back. In fact, he looked like he was holding back so much that he could've gotten a hernia from it. If he even raised his output by a BIT, I wouldn't be standing here today." Kanao's tone deepened into a more serious one than before, indicating that this was the real deal and not a joke.

The other Hashira had to ponder this for a while, seeing that another Hashira's trusted Tsuguko was being this serious about an something this absurd left them speechless. "I believe my younger sisters, if there is anything I can trust them with, it's telling the truth." Kanae looked to her two imoutos on the stage with a hopeful smile.

"UGH!" The two cringed back in their mind, a decisive critical hit had been landed, considering the fact that they had hid and lied about their connection with the man until now and now their oldest sister said she trusts them to tell the truth. A massive blanket of guilt was plopped on the two as they were forced to stand there while trying their best not to act out.

The world is truly unfair.

"Dam it, looks like we have pain-in-the-a*s to deal with... as if demons weren't already" Iguro frustratedly sighed while stroking his forehead. "Unfortunately yes, we also might need to amp up security and forces responding if we ever meet this man again since he is clearly strong enough to take down a Hashira easily." Aoi calmly replied. "I recommend bringing one or two Hashira to the scene if we were to meet him again. Not to fight to him, but to stall him for enough time that we could make a decision on what to do next. If we are in an advantageous position, I recommend pushing it by calling other Hashiras in, subdue him, and take him in for questioning. If we don't, then we need to buy time so us and whoever is present at the battleground can evacuate safely." Giyu suggested, the others nodded and were a little stunned because the most distant and quietest person in the room had finally talked.

"Very well, I will personally send out the message to all the slayers about the new information about the man, thank you for sharing this information with us Aoi and Kanao," Kagaya said, the two sisters nodded and sat back down with their older sisters.

.
.
.

After an hour of presenting what they had done over the month, Kagaya finally dismissed the meeting and the Hashiras exited the cave, Tengen and Rengoku went down the same path since they both live in neighborhoods right next to each other, Giyu went down with Iguro and Sanemi, and Muichiro went with Mitsuri and Gyomei. Meanwhile, the sisters headed down their own path and started to talk about current events.

"Great job guys!" Kanae said cheerfully, "Thanks, nee-san." Kanao replied, trying her best not to break down. "By the way, nee-sama, what was it that you wanted to talk about the upcoming Halloween dance?" Shinobu grabbed her sister's attention. The two walked ahead of Kanao and Aoi, busy discussing about the school event.

"Nice job, thanks for covering for me." Kanao whispered and playfully elbowed Aoi with a smug look.

"Haha! Thanks! I wouldn't have done that if it weren't for you dragging me into this mess!" She gave her a passive-aggressive look.

"Awwww.... but you know have stage fright!" Kanao teased back.

"Bullshit... you got over that months ago! I know you did that just to f*ck with me!"

"And I'll do it again!" Kanao laughed like and idiot, further aggravating Aoi.

At this point in time, Aoi's pent up annoyance and frustration that was built up during the day all came down at once with a swift strike to her sister's head.

*BONK*

"Ow!...." Kanao rubbed her head with a single comedic tear running down her face. "Do that again and it's going to be more than one!" Aoi she said with a deadly smile, a vein throbbing on her forehead.

"Ok, ok... I'm sorry..." Kanao pouted.

Nothing else unusual happened during the walk back to their house, apart from Kanao scratching her head every now and then.

Now it's time for another entry of The Slayer's Creed brought to you by Kanae!

Kanae: The Demon Slayer Corps is serious when it comes to tradition, we've been keeping several traditions alive ever since the corps was founded, such as being administered into the corp. The process has been kept the same ever since we first found the corps; New slayers take part in a selection process called "The Final Selection" in which they will attempt to survive one week with no food or water in a demon-infested forest after the seven days end, the slayers who survived will be brought back to the area in which they departed from, or in other words, return to where they started. And they will be given their Kasugai crow and will be able to pick an ore of their choosing from a selection box, after they have picked their ore, they will then be able to depart, thus ending the exam. But now since the corps has been evolving with technology, new slayers are also given earpieces that they can connect to their "Handler" or "Krells" as we like to call them in our business. They are apart of our sub-division: the "Communication Corps", but we'll focus on that later since we've just run out of time.

Kanae: Anyways, join us next time in "Anger and The Report" where we look at what the mysterious man was doing after he came back from his mission and how an unknown man reacts to his failed mission.
