Phee held out her hand which had a set of goggles in it. They had a brown strap and orange tinted glass pieces, it even had a flashlight attached to the band. "I hope you like it. Lyana and I made it." Tech picked up the object and examined it with blurry vision and his hands. "Why is it orange?" Tech asked. "Oh just put them on!" Phee demanded. "Ok." Tech muttered under his breath, then put on the goggles. "Hows that? Can you see?" Lyana asked as soon as the goggles were on. "Yes, but why is the glass orange?" Phee sighed, then asked, "Do you know how to accept a gift without complaining about it?" Tech opened his mouth but then closed it. He opened it again then said "Thank you both." Lyana nodded then got up and hugged Tech. Tech was confused at first but then put his arms around the girl in a slightly confused fashion.
The loth-wolf had jumped on Phee's chair and stole a piece of meat from the platter on the table. Even though she probably didn't need to jump onto the chair to get the meat, because she was almost half the size of an adult loth-wolf and barely fit on the chair.
"W-What is that?!" Tech asked as he saw the silver creature for the first time with non-blurry vision, he almost knocked over his chair. The wolf looked at him, which had a very long muzzle, which had dark grey stripes on the top of its muzzle and on its eyebrows, also on its legs. He also noticed the wolf had three separated toes, which were faded black, like the muzzle and each toe had a long, abyss black claw. Intelligent, yellow eyes pierced the head, like lights in a snow storm or in the fog. It had two long, majestic tails and long fur danced beautifully in the breeze. It growled at Tech and pressed its ears to its head. "I thought you knew." Phee said, trying to shove the creature off her chair. It then growled at her and the chair creaked under the weight of the creature. "Its my chair get off, get your own!" Phee told the wolf as she shoved it. It growled at her then jumped down, the chair shattered and collapsed, but the creature seemed satisfied and ate the meat it took from the table. Phee sighed and grabbed the empty chair that was on the other side of Tech. She then shoved all the broken parts of the old chair aside and sat down. The creature gobbled up the meat quickly and wagged its tails as it stared at the table. Phee looked at the creature and patted it on the head. "I would say you could have some, but you broke my chair." The creature growled then answered in deep and stretched words "But you got another one." Phee looked at the creature then decided to ignore it. Annoyed the creature pinned its ears and wandered off. "So how are they?" Phee asked Tech, as Shep helped himself to some food. "Well I can see with them, although they could use a few adjustments." Tech responded. Lyana looked at Tech curiously then asked "What kind of adjustments?" Before Tech could answer someone yelled. "GET THAT BLASTED BEAST AWAY FROM ME!" Tech looked over to the person who shouted. It was a women with black hair and dark skin, her eyes looked golden, and she was standing on her chair, pointing at the creature who had brought Tech here. It wasn't even near her, it had just looked at her. Tech guessed it had only looked at her when she shouted. One of its ears was shoved back and the other was forward, and one of the people at the women's table had talked to her, getting her to sit in her chair again. The creature had not moved until the women was in her seat and ignoring it again. Then the creature walked back over to the table Tech, Phee, Shep, and Lyana were at and sat down, head lowered, as though a defeated look. "Alright fine." Phee dropped a bit of meat for the creature, it happily licked Phee's arm then nuzzled her before wolfing down the meat. After that everyone started eating.
