Pabu's moon hung over the sky, as an inky blue covered the sky, and stars speckled it, like small glowy dots. "Everyone ready?" Shep asked the whole ship. Everyone cheered, except the wolf and Tech. "Ready? Ready for what?" Tech asked turning to Phee. "Just relax and watch." She answered putting her feet onto the table and leaning back in her chair, forcing it onto two legs. She crossed her hands behind her head and rested it on her arms. Shep pushed a button and loud cracking could be heard Tech followed Phee's gaze upward and saw beautiful, colorful explosions. The creature had looked at the back of the boat, of which the cracking sound was coming from, but its gaze finally went skyward. "Sure glad you could see that, huh?" Phee asked, still staring at the sky. Tech hadn't answered, he was in too much awe to say anything, he just dropped his jaw. Phee closed his jaw and Tech came back to his senses. He shook his head and looked at Phee, who was still looking at him. He smiled shyly, but Phee returned her gaze to the sky. So Tech followed her lead and his eyes shot skyward.
The loth-wolf swished her tails and pinned her ears back. 'Why are humanoids so weird? Even my master loves explosions, they are just loud bangs with lots of fire' She thought, anger glossing her eye. She was laying under a table, trying to make the sound quieter as to make it hurt her head less. But hiding under a table did nothing.
"Beautiful isn't it?" Phee asked, the answer she got was a growl then a whine, from the creature. Brown Eyes still hadn't said anything, but she didn't care, she was enjoying the beauty of the fireworks. Then a thought came to her 'Speaking of your crew.... I thought they were here....' Her eyes flickered to Brown Eyes. She noticed he wasn't smiling anymore as he watched the fireworks. "Hey, something wrong?" She asked, pulling her feet off the table, forcing her chair to fall loudly. "Oh-uh-E-everything is fine." He stuttered, not expecting the question, he had looked at her. Phee wasn't convinced, she continued to look at him, but now with a concerned look and raised eyebrows. "Its about your crew, isn't it?" She asked. "Well...." Brown Eyes searched for words, or was concerned on what he was going to say, or he didn't want to say anything, but regardless the reason Phee continued. "I'm sure they are fine." She then held a hand on Brown Eyes's shoulder, and made sure she was looking him in the eye. Brown Eyes sighed, unconvinced, looking at the floor.
Little did they know....
