Day Three (pt. 1)

Heyyyyy what's up peoples? XD anyways, heres the new update. I decided to update this early, and just as a head up, I might not update very much in June because of final exams. Enjoy

Levi's POV

My eyes widened in shock when Eren said that. Had he heard my conversation with Erwin? No, he couldn't have. But if he did, I need to talk to him about it. I ran out of the room behind Eren, calling his name.

"Oi! Brat! Where did you go?!" I called out, and sighed in frustration.

I looked around and decided to walk to my room. I opened the door and gasped at the sight in front of me. I blinked and looked at the mess my room was. There was a few drops of blood on the bed sheets and the floor. My eyes widened slightly, and looked at the trail of blood. I followed the small trail of blood to my bathroom and opened the door. I screamed and fell backwards. Erwin was hanging from the ceiling, tied at his waist. I could hear his soft, raspy breathing. I quickly cut him free. I looked around and found a fairly large cut just above his right eyebrow. I stopped the bleeding and bandaged it up. I struggled to carry him to my bed where I laid him. I sighed with worry and looked back at him. However, the more I looked at him, the more I noticed that his lips and fingernails had a strange bluish tint to them.  Just at that moment, a soldier burst into the room.

"Corporal Levi! There's bad news!" The soldier said while panting.

"What is it?" I asked him.

"The armoured titan broke in! And..." The soldier paused to catch his breath. "And he took both Eren and Annie!"

"Excuse me?" I said, looking at the soldier. "Eren's been kidnapped? Annie too?"

"Y-yes. It seems so." the soldier replied, and took notice to Erwin. "What happened to Commander Erwin?"

"He fell and cut himself. He will be alright." I replied.

The soldier nodded.

"Go and get some soldiers to chase after the armoured titan and get Eren back." I told the soldier.

The soldier nodded, saluted, then quickly left the room.

"L-Levi...." Erwin groaned and looked over at me.

"Erwin? What is it? How are you feeling? What happened? Who did this?" I asked him in a slightly worried tone.

"I'm not sure...I can't remember much...all I heard was Eren's scream, so I opened the door to see what was going on, but the moment I did, something hit me in the head and I lost consciousness. Then I woke up here..." Erwin told me, rubbing his wound.

I nodded and looked out the window. I frowned in frustration and confusion. Why did I feel pain in my chest when Eren said those things to me? Why do I feel pain when I heard that he's been captured? I shook my head and looked back at Erwin, who was giving me a weird look. However, I noticed that more he talked, the more he had to breathe, and the shorter his breaths were becoming. I held his wrist, and noticed that his pulse was racing. I frowned and looked at him as he started to talk.

"What?"

"What's wrong Levi? You look..troubled." Erwin said.

"Well, that's because the Armoured Titan has reappeared. And he took Eren and Annie." I said, looking at Erwin. I decided not to tell him that I was extremely worried about Eren, besides, my love towards to Eren is supposed to be fake. But then again, the look of pain on Eren's face is so hard to forget.

"Both of them? That can't be good..." Erwin said before coughing up blood.

My eyes widened slightly at the sight of the blood that was dripping from his mouth.

"Erwin?" I said, staring at him with wide eyes. "Erwin?!" I said again as Erwin fell unconscious again.

I quickly called for someone to help me carry Erwin to a hospital bed. There was no way I was going to let him die. Jean ran in, and looked at the current situation. He didn't ask any questions. He just quickly helped me pick up Erwin and carried him to the nearby hospital room. The doctor looked up, and immediately instructed us to lay him down on the bed. He quickly analysed what was happening to Erwin, and shook his head.

"Corporal Levi."

"Yes, what is it?"

"I'm afraid that Commander Erwin won't make it. He has somehow inhaled hydrochloric acid (A/N: I am aware that hydrochloric acid may not have existed what Attack on Titan took place, but psh. Imma pretend that it existed). I'm not sure how, but he did. I will try to do everything I can to try to cure him, but my efforts will most likely futile. Please, leave the room. Thank you." The doctor said before gathering all the necessary materials.

I nodded and left the room with Jean. I looked at him and nodded.

"Thank you for helping me. Now move along and continue with whatever you were doing, brat." I said in a monotone voice.

"Uh, you're welcome?" Jean replied before leaving. I looked back at the closed door of the room.

Tears slowly formed, but I quickly wiped them away. I could afford to look weak. Erwin....please....be safe....

I can't lose you.....
