Day One (pt.2)

Eren's POV  

I woke up in Levi's strong arms, all cuddled up in the blanket.

He was manly abs...I just noticed that I thought to myself, and nearly burst into laughter imagining what Hanji would be like if she saw his abs.

"Oi brat, what's with the stupid grin?" He asked me, still half-asleep.

"U-uh..."

"Go back to sleep, it's like what? 3:00 in the morning?" He muttered before drifting back to sleep.

"But Levi! I can't sleep!" I whined. It was true. I just woke up from a nightmare so I definitely know I won't be able to sleep again.

"Why can you not sleep? Did you have a nightmare or something?" He asked me.

I nodded my head.

"Eren, what was your dream about?" Levi asked me in a worried tone.

"U-um...uh..."

"Eren...tell me."

"U-um..."

"Eren..."

"U-uh...

"Eren...tell me NOW." Levi growled.

"I lost control over my titan self and killed everybody in the Scouting Legion!" I shouted.

"..." There was no response from Levi.

Suddenly, he pulled me into a tight embrace.

"Shhh...It's okay. It won't happen. Trust me. It won't happen." Levi whispered into my ear in a soft mother-like tone.

I grabbed his shirt as I sobbed into his shoulder.

"Levi... I'm really scared that I might go berserk. There's no telling when that would happen, but it will happen sooner or later." I sobbed.

"Well, If that really happens, I will be the one who saves you."

"No. You will make promises to me. Promises that you can never break. Understand?" I told him.

He nodded.

"One, please stay with me as much as possible."

Levi nodded.

"Two, I'll try to follow all of your orders, so please refrain from hurting me."

"..."

"Three,  please trust me. Doing that makes me unbelievably happy."

"Trust eh? Don't think already trust you?" Levi muttered under his breath.

"Four, for every expedition we go on if you get custody over me again, we have to come back alive. Five, at times, please talk to me. I don't want to be lonely."

Levi stared at me with a soft expression.

"Six, please treat me like a human, if you treated me like a monster, I don't think I can bare it. Especially in these 10 days."

"I will always treat you like a human Eren, even if you tell me not to." Levi told me, then pulling me into an embrace.

Thank-you Levi... I thought to myself.

"Seven, I will argue with you, so please hear me out."

Levi's grip on me tightened.

"Eight, if I lose control over my titan self...please...kill me." I said, choking back tears.

"Eren? Are there still more? I don't want to-"

"Levi, you promised me you would listen to the whole think, and agree to all the promises. Nine, please don't blame yourself. And finally, number ten, As I die, stay by my side, and always remember that I really love you Levi."

At that moment, I could feel tears dripping on my shoulder. I slowly turned my head to see Levi crying.

"Levi...don't dry, this is for the best of us. So please, don't cry." I said.

"Eren. Why did you make these promises? They hurt. I don't want to have to carry them all out." Levi snapped.

"Levi, please. I don't want to hurt anybody I just-" My head suddenly started to hurt, and after a while, I passed out in Levi's arms. All I remember was Levi calling my name, and him rushing out the door.

-Time skip-

Levi's POV  

Eren, please be okay. I silently prayed to myself.

"Hey Levi, how is Eren in your room? I thought he was in the dungeon. Unless..." Hanji asked me, then giggled.

"Shut it four-eyes. He was in my room because I visited him when he was having a nightmare. So I took him to my room to talk about why he was screaming." I lied.

At this moment, the doctor stepped out of the room.

"How is he?" I ask.

"The patient is suffering severe headaches, leading to loss of sleep, and stress. Make sure he stays carefree for the next week. He should recover in that time period."

"Thank-you doctor." Erwin spoke.

One week? That's a little hard since we have to back to court. Well we still have to try. I thought to myself before entering the room.
