Lies For Safety

Plot- Enji is hiding behind the abusive image for his kids, if he dares to defy his kids will be in danger. Rei will be death of him but he will stay strong for his kids even if it means he'll suffer. So what if rei puts the kids got into danger does enji defy and help the kids or will he let it happen.

Author Pov
    Enji enters his house with Shoto as he gets glares from left to right from natsuo and dabi. Enji looks at the women he calls his wife as she gives him a slight smile. Enji knows what's behind her little innocent act but he can't say. Enji leaves and heads to his room to lay and sleep, "Don't you want breakfast?" Rei asked with sorrow of innocence.
    Enji froze, "no, I'm not hungry." He said and left leaving the family confused but rei is satisfied. Enji todoroki, pro hero endeavour lives a life of lies for his kids safety. He's being portrait as an abuser, while the real abuser lives a life luxury. Enji would stop it but his kids life on the line so he stays silent. The hero commission is even considering on firing him.
     Because of his bad image and they want that on them, enji is now sitting in his room with smile. He looks upon the picture of him and the kids before all of this. Rei was a kind women until she gave birth to the kids. Enji noticed, enji loved these his kids with his heart so rei pushed them and blamed it all on enji. Oh, enji made me and that shit and enji sat their and watched it happen.
     Rei threatened him to take his kids life if he didn't obey what else was he supposed to do. As enji sat in his room the door opens, "rei." Enji said with a monotone, "enji hon don't be so rude you don't want the kids to hear." Rei said, "what do you want I did as you asked?" Enji asked, "oh nothing." Rei said as she looked at him and then began to scream in horror.
     Enji was confused at first but then he heard footsteps and then he soon realized what she had done. Rei dropped herself on the fall as the kids burst in to see their mother on the fall and their father kneeled down. "You fucking bastard what did you do?" Dabi said and enji stood silent. "What happened mom?" Fuyumi asked, "h-he pushed me, I don't know what I-I did." Rei said fake crying.
      Enji was quite surprised of  rei's acting but was brought back to earth from a slap. Fuyumi had hit him, "how dare YOU hit my mom, she has done nothing to you." Fuyumi said in anger, "well you don't know anything you insolent child!" Enji said back in anger standing up as rei smirked. This was what she wanted enji snap at his kids and she got it.
    "What the fuck do you mean, we know everything you're a abusive asshole." Natsuo and Shoto said, "if only you knew now get out of my all of you and that disgust woman." Enji eyes darken as he looked at them. He had to protect them but the pain and lies are getting to overbearing anger consumed enji. Shoto raised a hand to slap enji but his hand was held by enji.
    "Let go old man." Shoto said  struggling to pull his hand back as his quirk activated in anger burning Shoto. Shoto's screams in pain brought enji back as he looked at Shoto and his eyes widen as he lets go of his hand. Enji received a flame punch to the face from dabi, "damn abuser." Dabi snarled at him. Enji looked at todoroki, who had fear in his eyes enji glared at rei.
    Once the kids get of enji's room, enji knew rei planned this all but it's what to come tomorrow. He can only pray and hope that his kids will be okay. As night fell enji didn't sleep he was regretting hurting his youngest son.

Enji Pov
    As the morning sun hit face, I opened my eyes cause I wasn't asleep. I woke up and left the house early and head to the agency immediately. When entered I got nasty stares as I went to  my office where I saw the hero commission. "Enji Todoroki." The man said and I nodded, "We know what you did to Shoto Todoroki and we don't that kind of image for our agencies." The man said.
    My eyes widen, rei has taken it too really getting me fired that's how we live thus idiotic woman. "You're fired and you're done being a hero." The man said holding his hand, I took out my hero badge and gave it to him. "Let me explain you have it all wrong, rei is the one who made me do it." I tried to explain, "sweet woman wouldn't do such a thing." The man said.
      I sighed as I turned around and I left the agency and when I got home there was the family looking me. "Get out." Fuyumi said, "what?" I asked, "we said get out we don't you here anymore." Shoto said and my eyes widen they were kicking me out. I own this, "I own this house." I said, "not anymore the hero commission gave us permission to take this house." Rei said.
    "You can't believe your mother she's a bitch." I said, "don't talk to our like that and get out and don't ever come back." They said and I grabbed my already packed bag as I walked out the door to leave, "enji one more thing." Rei said and I turned to her, "what could you possibly want now." I said, "I want full custody of the kids just sign this." She said and I scoffed.
    I looked at her and grabbed the paper as she smiled but then her smiled dropped as I burned the paper. "You could do what you want but you're not getting full custody of them." I said walking away, "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOINH, YOU'LL REGRET THIS you'll see." She said but I didn't the last part. I went off and rented a hotel as I stayed there.
     I have been staying in this hotel for three weeks now and I've been doing fine. My kids are safe and that's great and I'm happy about that. I'm still worried about them tho, rei is crazy all might alone knows what she could do. Anyways I was sitting in my hotel room when ir received a call, I picked up and it's the pro heroes, i groaned, "what are you calling me for?" I asked.
     "You don't have your kids?" Aziawa asked and I sat up, "what?" I asked, "your kids have been missing for two weeks enjiand we thought they were with you since rei is missing as well." Toshinori said and my eyes , what did you do rei. "And you're now telling me my kids are missing."I said, "we know but do you know where they might be or who might have them." Shota said
     "I know who has them, their mother." I said, "we know she's missing with them enji." Nemuri said, "no I  mean she kidnapped I know this women and when she can't have what she wants she takes them." I said and I heard gasps, "and what does she want that you can't give her?" Nezu asked. "Full custody but I know what she can do so I'm gonna find my kids myself." I said.
     I hanged as they bang to protest as I looked through my closet to find a black leather jumper. It looks just like my hero suit so it will do, I put it on as I open my phone, "I hope you guys are safe rei you better not have hurt them." I said to myself, I looked up location camara as I found the spot they were in. "I'm coming don't worry." I said grabbing a few things before leaving.

Dabi Pov
     I opened my eyes to be seen tied up to a pole with Shoto, natsuo and fuyumi. I looked around as the other opened their eyes, "w-where are we and where's mom?" Fuyumi asked, "the last thing I remembered was eating my mom's food and then blacking out and then driving here and then she put us to sleep again." I said and then I gasped.
    We heard laugh as mom walked out from the shadows, "you're very smart touya but you all are too late." She said, "mom why are you doing this?" Shoto asked, "because I want your dad dead, he had everything a perfect kids loved by everyone." She said and then it clicked did was right. "But you love us, dad made you hurt us." Natsuo said and she laughed, "you still believe that." She asks.
     "I hurt you all on purpose and then blamed it all on enji so you could hate him, your father love you guys too much and would do anything to keep you safe, so I threatened him to take the blame or I would kill you all." She said laughing. "You never loved us only dad you made him angry so he would hurt Shoto and you could get him fired." I said.
    "Yeah yeah, but it's too late your father will be here soon and then he'll die and then I leave you guys here to rot." She said as we heard an explosion. "DAD!?" We yelled as he came in as he sighed with relief, "right on time enji, now time to die." She said as she attacked him. The old man, well dad dodged as he fired his quirk at her knocking her out.
    Dad started breathing heavily as he came and untie us and we hugged him. "You guys are alright?" He asked and we nodded as we heard groan and saw rei getting up. Dad turned around as she ran towards him. Dad fired his quirk but got stabbed with a icicle shard as mom head hit the wall. Dad dropped to the floor, "DAD!!" We yelled as we looked at him.
    "It's okay you guys are okay and that's good, I'll live." He started as he started coughing, "c'mon where are these stupid heroes dad stay awake okay and we're sorry for not believing you." I said, "we're sorry to dad." My siblings apologized. Dad smiled as held us close before I felt his hands weaken. "Dad..dad.." I said as I saw his eyes closed with a smile.
    "N-no no no dad..please stay with us please." Fuyumi cried, "c'mon old man, stay with us just a little more the pro heroes are most here." Natsuo said, "dad, I-I y-you said you'll b-be their to watch m-me become a h-hero please stay awake." Shoto cried, I felt his pulse it was there it was slow. I heard sirens as the pro heroes came in as the grabbed mom.
     "NO LEAVE HER , HELP OUR DAD SHE TRIED TO KILL US AND HE'S DYING!!" Shoto yelled as the came and take him away as Pro hero eraserhead or Aziawa came. "Are you guys okay?" He asked, "yeah but what about our dad and this bitch." I said looking at our mom. "She'll be taken in but your dad is strong he'll live." Aziawa said as we went with the pro heroes.

Author Pov
     After few days after the incident rei was was sentence to life in jail as she threatened a hero and tried to commit murder and kidnapping. Enji healed pretty fast he was now being discharged as he got to leave the hospital he was hugged. "DAD, you're okay we thought you were gonna die." Fuyumi said as the smiled and nodded.
    "I told I would live beside how am I suppose watch y'all grow and make me proud." Enji said as the family went home. Enji went back to being a pro hero but he always got this question why woild he lie to his kids. Enji would always respond with, I lied yes but my lies were for safety.
