Travelling in your spaceship was everything you have ever known, after all why be on earth if you can explore the debts of space?

The sensation of exploration was all that you ever need in your simple life, going to a planet to an other to get that dopamine of adventure and discovery of a new planet.
Yes, it does take a lot of resources to engage into that activity... but you learned on how to spend less. You changed fuel energy to be solar energy as you knew the sun would be a crucial way to keep Metronum going.

And hey! Metronum said it was good for the environment, if space count as that.

Today was going to be much more than your simple quest of Planet A to Planet B, MUCH more different...

Sitting in a comfortable position in your chair, you found yourself needing to stretch out from the long hours you remained into that very chair. You were not in the need to really to do anything for your spaceship, Metronum was auto piloting for you ! On the other hand, you did not really love the feeling of being completely useless. Metronum has fixed that issue for you, by allowing yourself to have control onto more minor parts of the ship fonctions.

Metronum screen was currently deactivated, focus onto her main task of piloting into the void of space to whatever next planet you were off to. A small silent remained as you questioned yourself, the small noise of the ship engine vaguely heard in the background. ¨Metronum. How much energy you have left before you need to recharge again?".

Her screen then activated itself in a matter of seconds and she came down from the ship wall to face you, ¨30% energy left. My calculation. we won't be making it to our destination¨. This wasn't a surprise, it has been days since the last stop.
Looking down at the panel, decorated by many buttons, levers and console. You press down a finger onto one of the buttons, activating the spaceship scanner, which would allow you to find a planet close enough to stay orbit to recharge Metronum.
A fews planets appeared, most were simply too far away to reach or straight up too unstable to stay safely in orbit. A small little celestial object was making a difference compare to the other.

¨Copper-9? Never heard of that exoplanet before.¨ Metronum screen turn around to the information shown on the screen panel. A small, but noticeable pause was seen in Metronum before she finally spoke. ¨Copper-9. It is owned by a company under the name of JCJenson. I would avoid this small exoplanet. ¨ She retracted herself back to her initial position facing you again. You stopped to think for a second, more questions confusing and filling up your brain. ¨Why is that? The scanner is telling us otherwise, quite stable and near! Nothing to fear! So why not Metro?¨. There was a silence, Metronum thinking of a reasons to not to take approach of Copper-9. This is... very odd? Coming from Metronum that is, she never this prudent or going against the scanner information.
¨My opinion, we listen to the scanner and we go! BAM in orbit get recharged and leave, easy!". Yes your idea is up to chance, well very good odds to be exact with the scanner. Tho you need to be more convincing as you are dealing with a very paranoid AI. ¨and hey, if we crash that on me and i WILL fix you up in no time! C'mon wouldn't be the first time anyway!¨. It was your confidence in yourself against Metronum could only accept in defeat.
¨We do not have any choice. do we? Very well then. Activate what is needed to proceed.¨.

You smiled at her answer, and inserting the commands into the panel to change it's destination..

...

Hours of travel it has been until you reach the solar system of exoplanet Copper-9. Arriving into the planet orbit, almost reaching the 10% of the ship energy.
It also took quite a while to position the ship correctly into the orbit, after all one wrong move and the spaceship get pull toward the planet. Metronum mostly did the job, as most of the time you attempted to do this it has resulted in the ship getting baited into the gravitational pull of the planets.
