Hours, it's been hours you've been trying to repair the stupid thermal system of the ship so you wouldn't freeze while trying to get at least SOME rest.
It was pretty much the first time you had to fix it, normally it wouldn't break but I guess the shot manages to somehow break it.
You lay down on the floor as it finally started to heat up the ship, you were so tired.
Metronum was able to calculate what hour it was and how long the day were going to be, surprisingly it's extremely similar to earth time.
She changed every digital clock to make sure you could know what time it would be and honestly it was really nice of her to do while you struggle with all the fixing.
Talking about time, you looked at the digital clock inside the ship.
It was 3:45 am, to this point you really needed to get some rest but at the same you couldn't really rest without being worried that something might just explode.
Metronum tried to convince you multiple time to get some rest and that everything will be fine.
Of course, you didn't listen to her and just said that you'll be okay for just missing one night of sleep.
You sighed on the floor and took out a note with everything that was broken on the ship, starting off with the most important to the least important.
Luckily, your food supply and the water filter are still all fine after the crash so you have at least a year to repair everything and get off.
You couldn't just send a signal to ask for help, the communication panel got so destroy you can't even call it that anymore.
You also thought about that drone called Thad that ran away, by what Metronum told you he was a worker drone.
He was clearly scared about your presence, more than Metronum one.
Honestly he should have been more scared of her, since she could have just snapped him in half if it weren't for the fact I was here.
You don't know much about the planet history and the worker drones but one day you'll like to figure it out or learn it.
As you put the note into your pocket, you got up and went toward the main room of the ship.
Metronum was in sleep mode, so you didn't really want to bother her much.
Today you planned to go scavenging for anything that could be useful, but not get too far since you're still unfamiliar to this place.
You were ready to go out the second the sun would start to raise up, hoping that maybe the day was less cold than the night...
-9:33 am-
The sun finally decided to show its face, you were outside with the biggest bag you could find.
You didn't want to bring the big snow slider you thought you'll never use in your entire life yet.
Why?
Because you were too tired to go and find some big piece of metal to bring back yet.
You looked around, your ship crashed really close to the old abandon city and if there were a place you should search it was definitely this place.
You started to walk toward the big city, the sun made it a bit warmer but it was still pretty cold.
The buildings were tall, it felt like a bunch of titans were looking down toward you which kinda gave you a bit the creeps.
But if it weren't enough to add to this, the silence of this place didn't make it comfortable whatsoever.
Walking.
Walking and scavenging.
That what you pretty much all of what you did.
Yeah, you did find a bunch of small interesting stuff, but nothing too important to care much or to help you get off the planet.
There were also... A lot of dead worker drones body and frozen human corpses...
You um... Didn't like to see any of that at all, so whenever there were any you would just look up at the sky and the buildings pretending there weren't any to begin with.
You had a lot of questions of what even happened on this planet, was it because of that they didn't want you to get any close?
It was a mystery to you, but you tried to put the missing piece together.
Oh and you thought that all these dead bodies were making you uncomfortable?
You should have SEEN your face when you saw the huge piles of workers drones corps going all up to the sky.
¨Oh hell the fuck nah, I'm getting back to Metronum this is straight up a big get out of here before you die sign.¨ you said before walking back into the direction of your ship.
You wanted to sprint, run, just get as fast away as you could from whatever the fuck you just saw, but that would be a waste of necessary energy you had left in your body.
Then came a small ring from the device on your arm, making you snap out of your thought.
Metronum was probably checking on you to check if you were fine or still alive.
You click on the screen of the device and Metronum digital face appeared on it ¨WHERE ARE YOU? You know you just can't leave like that without telling me!¨, she looks pretty panic at your sudden disappearance.
¨Hey! Don't worry I'm doing fine right now, went to look out from some useful stuff and to get familiar around the place, since we'll be stuck here for a while.¨ you tried to reassure her, but you know her and it was definitely not enough.
¨Then why didn't you wake me up from sleep mode? You should have told me.¨.
Yeah, she was definitely going to scold you like a child for that.
¨Well... um I didn't want to bother you in your sleep and um can we talk when I come back? Anyway cya later!¨ you close off the device before she could answer.
Then it was back to the silence and the walking.
Thought the silence was then cut short by the voice of two people talking and it was getting closer.
You sprinted toward the closest broken car and hidden behind it, the indistinct speech of the two people finally starting to be hearable for you to understand.
¨Ugh Thad! You can't be really serious about all that, even if a ship crashed no one would be able to survive inside of it.¨ It came from a girl, probably in her teenage year.
Wait, Thad? Isn't that the drone you met after your crash? You thought to yourself.
¨I'm not kidding Zi. I saw it myself!¨ you barely could see anything from the car window, but you could kinda make the two figures.
¨We can even go there right now! I know exactly where the spaceship crash down.¨ he tried to convince the probably female worker drone.
¨Fine, but if it's something else that as nothing to do with anything you said then bite me!¨, uh weird choosing of words for the ends.
¨Alright then, but where N & Ms. I thought he was with yo-¨ then you couldn't make out what they were saying anymore.
But how the hell will you make it to your ship before they do? Like you can't just call Metronum with your watch because she'll start scolding you and they'll see you.
You thought for a second while they started walking, then an idea finally came.
It was dumb, but a good distraction!
You took out the two flare gun from your back pack and quietly sprinted toward the building.
Looking around to make sure you had a clear way to sprint down to your ship without being seen, you activated the two flares.
You didn't aim it toward the sky but at the other building, which you know would make the flare hit the wall to catch their attention better.
Both of the drones looked behind them to look at the flair, then you ran to the other side of the building and started making a sprint toward your ship.
It should distract them for a bit... Hopefully.
But not the time to think right now you have to make it to Metronum!
