Crash landed -Murder Drones x Reader

Chapter 6: -Do not eat until 2046-

Laying down in the engine room of the ship, you were fixing some loose pieces that was caused by the crash.... Jesus how did so much of the ship was destroyed? after all Metronom wasn't just any regular ship, but an old battleship you found inside a warehouse back on Earth, that you kinda just made into a travel ship. Thinking about Earth, why haven't you went back? It's been so long you've been out in space exploring, thinking about this made you feel weird.
 The memories about Earth seem so... distant.. you could hardly remember, but yet you still had memories about it. Kind of like when you try remembering a dream but can't quite make everything out about it. 

 You worried for your mom, she probably back there worried about your crazy adventure in the void of space, since your communication system isn't working. She the sweetest person you ever knew, why did you leave her on Earth alone with only your siblings to look and care for her. I mean your siblings are good people, you know they will do their best for mom.. But there isn't much to do isn't it? Other than obviously pour all your frustration into fixing up the ship. A good boost for your motivation! But geez was it frustrating with all theses parts you kept adding onto the list or weak pieces that clearly that clearly won't make the cut when you try to fly the ship.

It's been exactly 9 days since the crash, Uzi came from time to time. Her company was quite pleasant, even if you don't understand her that much with.... her strange way to act? But nevertheless it's better than just completely being alone even if you had Metronom.Metronom been slowly warming up to her, but not much. Your quite glad that Metronome hasn't decided to just kill the poor drones.
You and Metronom haven't talked much other than small talks or things about your safety on the planet and such.. things have been akward between you two to say the least. She cares about you and the fact your in such a dangerous place just worried her, if it weren't for the fact you were so stubborn she would have fully baby proof the ship and perimeter. Thankfully you were able to convince her not to, after all you have an exoskeleton installed onto your body. If it weren't for it, your muscle and bones would have ended up like mashed potatoes a while ago. It didn't make you stronger tho, just made it easier for your body to adapt to different gravity and not to fully break your legs if you were to jump off from a high enough distance to break them and for your arms to pick up slighly more heavier stuff than normal. Unless if you didn't had any clothes on, the exoskeleton was hardly noticeable.

Placing down the blueprint of the ship over how to correctly do your job to not screw things up, you took one small look before approving your own work. You got up, sweating from the heat of the room and the work you accomplished. Not everything was fixed but most of it!

 Gosh you really need to find some metal scrap if you want to get things done and get off this cold wasteland as quick as possible.

Groaning you walked up to the exit of the ship, putting on your equipment before leaving. After all if you didn't equip it, you would have died from the cold or the planet toxic gas! Thank god the ship equipped with almost everything you could ever need to survive on almost any planets. Also Looking behind you as you were ready to leave, you should probably say goodbye to Metronom or tell her you were going to leave. After all you don't want a panic ship constantly calling you while your looking for anything useful in this junkyard of a snow wasteland city.

"Metronom! I'm going out for a bit! I will be trying to find some junk that i could use to fix you up! Shouldn't take too long as i just need a fews stuff¨.

Metronom screen lighted up to life as she looked down at you. "Good to let me know Y/N, make sure to stay safe and report anything to me for the sake of your safety."

"I will, i will... your AI mind won't have to worry about it! After all i might be dumb sometime but i am not enough to die from a little cold and potential dissembling drones that i haven't encounter so far!" You took one small look at Metronom who rolled her eyes in response, before waving goodbye and leaving the ship. The second the door opened you were hit by a strong wave of cold wind. 
Oh you absolutely hate that cold and you are totally NOT made for this! 

Metronom watched you leave, again, with a blank expression on their screen. obvously you didn't look back to even notice it. but you did at least hear something coming out of Metronom speaker as you left.

It was night, nothing to really see in sight in term of good pieces you could take. Maybe today you should go a bit more out of the zone you normally explore? Yeah! Sound like a GREAT plan! You walked around the city, exploring while also staying as far away as you could from that tower of dead drones body... Trying your best to not make eyes contact with that thing as it just gave you the absolute creep.
Entering an old shop, making the small door bell ring, you took a look around. Mostly hoping for pieces or something else you could eat that wasn't those army rations food that didn't taste that great. Picking up a can of beans, you carefully read the label even if dust and darkness was making it hard to read.

¨Do not eat until 2046¨

 Woah actually food that MIGHT be edible! At least more than the rations! Hah if your sister would have been there she would have gobble it right up even if she wasn't starving like you! Haha! ha..haha...

Why can't you remember her name...... who.... you remember everyhting but why not....

You snapped thoses weird thougts away, guess that craving for actual food made you a tiny bit nuts uh?... maybe you shouldn't try to think about thoses things until you can get your communication panel to work and ask mom a fews question to try to keep your sanity stable.

Has for the beans, your not taking the risk of just gobbling it all in one shot right now, you should probably take a fews with you and test how actually edible they are with the help of Metronom. You prefer to die from a cool death than food poisoning out of all thing if you were to be honest with yourself. After taking a few of them, you continued your walk around the shop. 
Honestly the darkness adding to the emptiness of a place that is suppose to be full of people walking around buying stuff with their shopping cart. Sometime meeting a frozen human skeleton in some of the hailey.... Other than the beans you found, nothing else was edible. But even worst nothing in sight that was usefull for the ship. You had to look somewhere else if you wanted to get something usefull, probably in a car repair shop or computer store maybe....

You went back outside, 

The snow wasn't too deep making it easier for you to walk around without having the trouble of walking in snow that reach up to your knees. It was quite peaceful night even if you HATED the cold, why out of all planet a cold one- Wait is that Uzi? 

You walked up toward her direction, someone else seem to be with her, having a mostly a yellow color pallet contrasting with her more purplish coloring. As you approach you could hear them speak to each other. Huh didn't even notice until now that they were wearing more fancy clothing. Seem like they are talking about something important...?

 "No, I-I could use the help..." Uzi laughed awkwardly "...of you... being there..."

The other figure look back at her as Uzi said this.
"...with me."

The other figure suddenly went to her. "Dapper buddies!"

 Woah okay you were truly walking in on something-

"Y/N?!??!? What are YOU doing here?!"

HEY! TOLD YOU IT WASN'T DEAD! 

Well this took me WAY too long to make this, by the way as you can tell this happen around episode 3, when N and Uzi meet each other again outside of the bunker. 

I think i may go back to just to fix up some spellings mistake i made and also some other things just to make it more sense with the murder drones plot and me having to changes my plans for this story..... because reading back my old chapters gave me a stroke.
So yeah going to be fixing a few stuff while working on the next chapter-

also WOAH this thing got a lot of attention! 6,7K read! Just crazy!! Thank you so much for this! Most of the rework of the story planning as been done, as i had to change a bit due of the whole stuff we saw with Earth being well destroyed and humanity dead- but i have found a way to work around with that!
