As they continued through the park, they faced more challenges and dangers.
The next one was a maze. When they made their way through the maze, Y/N and Beomgyu talked about their passion. Sometimes Y/N couldn't help but notice how Beomgyu's expression would sometimes darken when he talked about his passion for cars. Finally, she mustered up the courage to ask him about it.
"Hey Beomgyu, I couldn't help but notice that sometimes you seem a bit gloomy when you talk about cars. Is everything okay?"
Beomgyu looked like he was caught off guard by the question, and for a moment, he hesitated. "Uh, yeah, everything's fine," he said, but Y/N could tell that he was holding something back.
"Are you sure?" she pressed. "You can talk to me if something's bothering you."
Beomgyu looked at her for a moment before shaking his head, "maybe next time" he said smiling.
Y/N nodded, respecting his boundaries. "That's okay," she said. "I understand. Just know that I'm here for you, whenever you want to talk about it."
Beomgyu smiled gratefully at her, and then he changed the subject, asking Y/N about her favorite type of music. But Y/N couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more going on with Beomgyu, something he wasn't ready to share yet.
After that the challenge was to climb a steep rock face. Y/N was hesitant to climb it, but Beomgyu encouraged her and helped her find the best footholds. As they climbed, they talked about their fears and how they had overcome them.
Y/N chuckled as they continued to climb. "You know, this thing I have, being scared of sudden loud noise. It is called ligyrophobia. The fun fact, It's actually quite common. But it can be pretty embarrassing sometimes. One time, I was at a friend's house and a balloon popped, and I screamed so loud that I knocked over a whole stack of dishes!"
Beomgyu couldn't help but laugh at the image. "Well, at least you didn't break any bones. That's a win in my book."
Y/N grinned. "And what about you, Beomgyu? What's your biggest fear? The dark?"
Beomgyu hesitated for a moment before admitting, "Yeah, I hate darkness. Also, I don't really like when the sun sets. It looks red, like a red sun, and it kind of scares me."
Y/N looked at him curiously. "What do you mean? Sunsets are beautiful."
Beomgyu shook his head. "I know, I know. But there's something about the way the sun looks when it sets. It's like a big red ball in the sky, and it kind of freaks me out."
Y/N smiled reassuringly. "Well, I promise to protect you from the scary red sun, Beomgyu."
They both laughed and continued to climb, feeling more comfortable and connected with each other than ever before.
As they were walking along the trail, Y/N suddenly heard a loud buzzing sound. She looked around and saw a swarm of bees flying towards them. Panic set in as she realized they were getting closer and closer.
Beomgyu quickly grabbed Y/N's hand and pulled her off the trail, looking for a place to take cover. They found a nearby tree and ducked behind it, but the bees continued to swarm around them.
Beomgyu quickly took off his jacket and began to swat at the bees to keep them away from them. Y/N watched in amazement as he fearlessly fought off the bees, not once getting stung.
With Beomgyu's help, Y/N was able to run to safety, but her heart was pounding in her chest. After they were safely away from the bees, they both breathed a sigh of relief and hugged each other tightly.
"Are you okay?" Beomgyu asked, concern etched on his face.
Y/N nodded, still a bit shaken. "Thank you for saving me," she said, looking up at him with gratitude.
Beomgyu smiled softly. "Of course. I'll always be here to protect you."
As they continued on their adventure, Y/N couldn't help but notice how Beomgyu was always looking out for her. He would check if she was okay, offer her a hand when she stumbled, and make sure she was comfortable. She felt grateful for his presence and knew that she could trust him with anything.
As the day wore on, Y/N and Beomgyu grew closer. They found themselves relying on each other more and more. Y/N's really glad for Beomgyu's knowledge, quick thingking and analytical skills. Beomgyu would make Y/N laugh with his witty jokes, and she would blush at his compliments. They would share small moments of affection, like a brush of hands or a lingering gaze.
They shared stories about their lives, their dreams, and their fears. They laughed and joked, enjoying each other's company more and more. Y/N found herself falling for Beomgyu, despite the fact that they had only known each other for a few short hours.
Finally, they reached the last challenge. They had to race to the top of a tower and ring a bell to signal their victory. But when they got there, they discovered that only one person could ring the bell. They had to make a choice: put their love for each other first or their survival instincts.
Y/N and Beomgyu looked up at the tower, both feeling the tension rising between them. They had come so far together, but now they were faced with a difficult decision. Y/N knew how much ringing the bell meant to Beomgyu - it was a symbol of victory and accomplishment. But she also knew that if she let him go ahead, she might never see him again.
As they started to race up the tower, Y/N's heart was pounding in her chest. She tried to keep up with Beomgyu, but his long legs gave him an advantage. They reached the top almost at the same time, panting and out of breath.
That's when they saw the bell. Beomgyu's eyes lit up with excitement, and Y/N's heart sank. She knew what she had to do.
"Go ahead, Beomgyu," she said, forcing a smile. "Ring the bell. You deserve it."
Beomgyu hesitated for a moment, looking at Y/N with concern in his eyes. "Are you sure? I don't want to leave you behind."
Y/N nodded, trying to hide her sadness. "I'll be okay. Just go ahead and ring it. I'll be right behind you."
Beomgyu nodded, his eyes lingering on Y/N's face for a moment longer. Then he turned and raced to the bell, ringing it with all his might. The sound echoed across the valley, a triumphant cry of victory.
Y/N watched him with a bittersweet smile, feeling both happy for him and sad to see him go. But as Beomgyu raced back down the tower to her, he scooped her up in his arms and hugged her tightly.
"We did it!" he exclaimed, beaming at her. "Together!"
Y/N smiled, feeling her heart soar. They had made it through the challenges, and they had done it together.
Suddenly, a voice came from behind Y/N, sounding surprised and a bit angry.
"Choi Beomgyu?" the voice said.
Beomgyu and Y/N turned around to see who it was and instantly Beomgyu's face fell as he recognized the man. "Hyung," he said quietly. "I can explain."
