I'm just a stepping stone to someone's final destination. I'm the background music that sets the mood at a party. I'm just the love that you didn't know existed. That ripple in the pond that we call life. I'm comfort, guidance, understanding, and kindness. I give my all in situations that should require none. I'm that gentle touch of love when you feel broken. I'm that kind love. The love that shows you how you are suppose to feel right before you make that huge mistake. I'm the love you will always long for but never receive in return. My love heals for who receives while breaking even more. My love is constant and forever.
I don't know how to protect it. I don't know how to determine if someone will cherish it. It's so hard not to let all the situations change my love. But I have to figure out who is worthy of my love.
