"and my gosh, the sea food ughhhhh to die for!! when my mom was young she was told tha-" shay immediately got cut off my matt. he couldn't take it anymore.
"i went to a party saturday night" matt told her wanting to stop talking about her for two minutes
"oh..OH that reminds me i went to a party in england it was so fancy omg their-" she got cut off again.
"the party was fun, me and lauren talked for hours, i like her" he said smiling at her name.
shay scoffed. "ok so while i was having fun u were cheating on me??" she said all dramaticly. matt rolled his eyes
"no-"
"i knew you were cheating this whole time, did i not mean anything to you!!" she screamed at him as his whole friend group sat down at there lunch table. everyone was looking, getting silent.
he grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the lunch room, not wanting to cause a scene, but everyone was staring as conversations completely stopped.
"let me ask you this, how many boys did you kiss in england?" matt harshly screamed having enough of her.
"well lik-"
"how many boys did you make out with? hook up with? take to bed??" he said this time sounding weak.
"well i wasn't counting but mayb-"
"no! that's it! me and you, whatever this is. it's done. i'm done with it. okay i want to talk about myself sometimes, and not causes scenes. i'm sorry you just got back from vacation but we are done. ok?" he said sounding weaker.
"whatever, i'll just go to jason" she rolled her as she said that, walking away.
matt leaned against a wall. even though he had wanted to end thing with her for six months, he felt sad. he couldn't go back into the lunch room. but he had too. he straightened himself up, took one last breathe and walked back in with time without shay.
his table grew quiet as he sat down. he just looked towards the floor. everyone looked at each other concerned.
"matt, what just happened?" nick asked cautiously. matt was still looking down at the floor because he knew if he looked up his friends would know he was about to cry.
"i broke up with her" he said quietly still looking down
"fucking final-" chris said before reading the room. he whispered a sorry.
"oh matt, i'm so sorry" brooklyn said as she gave him a side hug.
matt stayed silent for a minute before realizing he couldn't take it. he got up and walked back out the cafeteria doors.
