"Sharvari, we don't have a future together."
"Think once again sharvari"
"You are an unwanted person sharvari."
"You see, he left you as I said."
With teary bloodshot eyes I looked at Aviraj, the only emotion I have in my heart for him is hatred.
The divorce papers were laying on the table in front of me, with his sign on it.
"Do I deserve it?"
"Mr. Mehta do you have something to say?" I heard the faint voice of the lawyer.
He didn't say anything and went away. Far away from me, to build his own world.
My hand subconsciously went to my womb, the only thing Aviraj Mehta gave me is his little one growing in my womb, but this news is unknown to everyone and even my parents don't know anything about my pregnancy.
I grabbed the pen and with trembling hands, I started signing the documents.
Intaking a sharp breathe I looked up at my father in law who seemed disappointed and the emotions were opposite in the case of the women who stood beside him, sanvi.
I signed the documents and left them as they were, on the table.
It's over.
I touched my in laws feet and my father in law hugged me for the last time. My parents were there, standing silently mourning in the pain the man had caused to their only child.
I turned around and went away like there was no coming back, without turning back I stood at the main gate of the mansion as I gasped for air but somewhere my sane mind asked me,
'Did I do right by not telling him about his child?'
But I don't want my child to grow up in a family where the father is a cheater.
I waved my right hand in the air to stop a taxi and with that the chapter of Aviraj Mehta closed in my life for forever.
All the memories of Aviraj and my beautiful life played like a reel infront of my eyes, the suffocation began as I placed my palm on my flat belly.
“now only you're my reason to survive, my child.”
As the tears began to flow freely from my eyes, I closed them and let out my emotions.
