"Alright, Alright, list off your so called rules then" I huffed out a breath and looked over towards H.

We were currently driving through mid-town towards school.

It was the first day back since the party, and the first appearance as a free women, well almost.

H was adamant we needed a few ground rules if we were gonna be fake dating.

He was insisting on them.

"Come one Summer's don't look at me like that" he rolled his eyes, and then turned his gaze back into the road in front of us.

"Like what? List your rules H" I grabbed an old café napkin that was squished between the seat and armrest, and pulled a pen out from my bag.

H looked over to me and glanced down at my pen, already scribbling 'Rule one' down. He rolled his eyes and laughed.

"You aren't serious?" He laughed again eyes dropping back to my pen and napkin.

"Serious as ever. Go on then" I looked at him with a straight face, urging him to rattle off his list of rules.

If we have a contract in place then least we can do is have everything in writing if something goes pear shape, Right?

"Alight, rule one. No catching feelings, I don't want anything serious" he states seriously.

Even though I have known H since we were basically in the third grade. I didn't know him all the well anymore, especially when it came to girls.

But what I did know is that H didn't do attachment. This much was obvious.

Since H had been back in town he had gained quite the reputation with girls, there was rumours always surfacing in regards to his latest hookups, but no one had ever seen him romantically with anyone, casual or not.

"Not a chance of that happening" I reply and scribble rule number one. He looks over and rolls his eyes again.

"I'm serious Dana." He states and turns his eyes back to the road.

"So am I! Next rule go!" I turn towards him, resting my feet up on the dashboard in front of me.

I was serious. I didn't want anything serious right now, especially after dating someone like Jared.

I don't think I could trust anyone so easily ever again.

"We have got to make it believable and what not" he looks over towards me again.

"Write that down" he states while looking down at my unmoving pen.

"What does "what not' include exactly?" I look over towards him again catching his eyes for a small moment, before he turned back towards the road.

"You know PDA and stuff, your supposed to be my girlfriend" he answers back raising is eyebrows in question.

"Kissing is off limits" I state back quickly and start writing it down the rule.

It wasn't like I had never kissed before, Jared and I had kissed before.
It just meant more then to me then I would like to admit, I didn't want to kiss just anyone I didn't know. And fact was I really didn't know H as much as I thought I did.

"Done" he replies smoothly without question or hesitation.

"Alright you go" he asked me as we turn on to the school road.

"Under no circumstance do you call me baby" I firmly state without any hesitation.

H throws his head back in laughter "you can't be serious"
