I had almost lasted the whole day avoiding Jared completely.
With rumours already circulating about H, and our arrival at school today. I knew that news would eventually get back to Jared, and be wouldn't be happy.
I could feel lingering stares throughout the day, but no-one really dared mention anything H or Jared related. Not directly towards me anyways.
I shouldn't have counted my blessings so soon, as I exited class I ran smack bam into Jared outside the classroom door. Typical, if you think of the devil he will appear.
"There you are baby. I have been looking for for everywhere" He pulled me to his side, dropping a heavy arm over my shoulder pulling me towards him.
I pulled his arm off my shoulders and turned towards him in disbelief. The word 'Baby' still gave me uncomfortable chills down my whole spine.
"Jared. Do you not remember our Friday night conversation?" I turned up to look at him. He was a good few five inches taller then me, my chin only came up to his chest and I had to raise my head to meet his gaze.
"It was a misunderstanding. I wasn't expecting to see you there, I thought you weren't even coming. You know parties aren't your thing" He answered back casually. He went to throw his arm over my shoulder again and I moved out from under him.
"You alright D?" Parker interrupted us in the hallway looking from Jared back over towards me. Parker and I had just got out of the same class, but when I looked up to reply to her I noticed a few people had stopped in the middle of the hall looking over at us.
"Yeh all good. This won't take a minute" I tired to brush off the conversation with Jared, eyes shifting around at the crowded hallway again.
"We are kind of in the middle of something right now" Jared stated, turning towards Parker trying to dismiss her
"We are done with this conversation" I answered back. Seriously was this guy not going to get the message or not.
"Baby-" Jared starts up again turning towards me.
Obviously not.
"Jared! No seriously we are over" I spoke as sternly as I could in a low whisper, aware of the people still looking towards us.
I didn't want this to be more embarrassing then it had to be.
"So what, your just gonna give up on us then" He continued to argue against me.
"Look i'm no longer interested" I state back not even humouring his last statement with a response or reaction.
I'm really starting to wonder what I saw in this guy in the first place to be honest, was the bar really that low that I stayed with this guy for god knows how long, or was I just so naive I couldn't see.
