Crush Catastrophe?

'Why does Cinna hate me so much..? I didn't even do anything to her. She thinks I'm sabotaging her?' Luna thought as she walked down the hallway.

"OOMF- Watch where you're going- Oh sorry..." Luna said, as she bumped into someone.

"It's fine. Sorry it's mostly my fault." The person said

Luna looked up. She saw a boy who was pale, and his hair was ginger. "N-No really it's fine" she stuttered.

He smiled. "Nice to meet you, I'm Tristan" He told Luna as he held out his hand.

"I'm Luna," She said as they shook hands.

Luna dusted her skirt. "Soo... Are you new? I haven't seen you around before"

"Yea... I just transferred here.." He replied.

"Cool. So... Which school did you go to before?" Luna asked

"Spring Hill High.. The garden was really pretty. Wanna see pictures?" He answered.

'I have to go to class soon... But.. I'm genuinely curious' Luna thought. Out loud she said, "Sure."

He turned his phone on, and his lock screen background was him wrapping his arm around a girl with long, golden brown hair and her bangs were bleached. He smiled when he saw the picture.

"Who's that...?" Luna asked. Her stomach made different jumps and twists.

"Oh.. that's my girlfriend!" He said as he smiled big and blushed.

"Oh.. Nice..." Luna said. She couldn't help but feel... Actually- she didn't know what she was feeling.. But it made her feel really, really upset.

"Ok i just need to look for the pictures." He said. As he was scrolling Luna noticed there were multiple pictures of him and his girlfriend.

"Actually I gotta get to class." Luna muttered. Tristan's smile disappeared. "Oh alright.... Well see ya around?" He asked, but he was too late. Luna already left.

Meanwhile, with Zoey and Cinna

"I hope Luna's not too mad..." Zoey muttered.

Cinna nodded and turned around. When she turned her head back, she was smirking.

"What??" Zoey asked. "Why are you smirking..?" Zoey shoved Cinna aside so she could see what she was smirking at.

Zoey blushed. It was Alex. He was approaching a girl behind her. Wait- No he was approaching her?!

"Hey Zoey," Alex said.

"H-Hello.." Zoey replied "W-What's up?"

"Nothing much.. Just wanted to invite you to my birthday party." He said as he handed her a card."Will you be able to come?" He asked her.

Zoey opened the card "Oh, this Saturday... Uhm yeah sure I'll come! Is there a theme for the clothes or anything?" She asked.

"Nah, just make sure you don't wear a frilly dress, it's in an escape room." He said as he smiled

"Oh.. Thank you," Zoey said as she smiled

"Where's my invite? Huh?" Cinna exclaimed. Zoey shot her a 'i'm going to kill you right after this' death stare.

"Sorry Cinna, it's at an escape room place like I said so I can only invite up to 3 people." He said.

"Well who did you invite then?" Cinna asked.

"Luna, New kid named Tristan, and Zoey" He said

Zoey blushed. "Why did you choose to invite me though? I'm not popular or anything... I don't know if you consider me as a friend... And you have other friends.. Like, a lot." She said,

Alex smiled at her. "Well you're Luna's friend, and you're really nice. Better than those snobby popular kids."

Zoey blushed. "Thank you.."

"Anytime," he said as he winked. He started to walk away when he turned around. "Hey Zoey? I do consider you as a friend." Then he walked away.

"OooOooOooh I think he LikEeEeES yOuUuuuuu" Cinna exclaimed.

Zoey had turned into a tomato by then. "D-Do you think I should... confess?" She said

"Girlie, I never thought you would ask! OF COURSE YOU SHOULD." Cinna exclaimed as she shook Zoey.

"Ok... let me tell Luna first."Zoey muttered. Cinna rolled her eyes.

Zoey started walking to where Luna ran. She saw Luna standing there staring at the empty hall.

"Luna I'm really really sorry..." Zoey said softly.

Luna turned around. "It's fine.. I guess.." She muttered.

Zoey pulled her into a hug. "You will never believe what just happened" Zoey said as she pulled back from the hug.

"What?!" Luna said.

Zoey explained what happened with Alex in detail. Then she told Luna she was thinking of confessing, and how she wanted to ask Luna first.

"Of course you should! But maybe at the party?" Luna suggested.

"Yeah.. good idea." Zoey agreed. "He said he's inviting you, and some new kid named Tristan."

Luna looked surprised. "Tristan..?" She asked, just to clarify.

"Yeah.. Why do you look so surprised..?" Zoey asked.

"Nothing nothing.." Luna said. Zoey wasn't convinced, but she let it go anyway.

"OMG, ZOEY ADLER HAS A CRUSH ON ALEX FONTAINE!!" A popular girl named Tina announced.

"Shoot, she overheard us.." Zoey whispered.

Luna shot her a death stare, and she walked up to Tina.

Tina smirked. "So you're friends with the ugly girl now?" She asked Luna in her annoying high-pitched sassy voice.

"The only ugly girl I see here is you, Tina." Luna shot back.

Tina chewed her gum loudly. "Whatever. ANYways, Alex will be disgusted when he finds out you out of all people have a crush on him! Hahaha! He won't like you back 100%. You're so ugly. You don't even wear any makeup!"

"Well your so ugly that you have to wear makeup to cover it up. Take that TINA!"  Zoey thought in her head, but no one else heard her. (Lolol Dork Diaries Reference)

Zoey death glared at Tina. "You better not tell anyone." she growled.

Tina smiled evilly "Ok fine, here's the deal. I tell Alex, but no one else. If you don't agree, everyone in the school will know!"

"I have a better deal." Luna butted in. "Zoey confesses to Alex, herself, and you don't say a word."

"Why would I agree to that?" Tina sneered.

Luna stared at her nails and looked back at Tina with a bored expression. "Because if you tell Alex," Luna stepped closer to Tina. "I'll tell Aaron that you like him."

Tina stared at Luna with a shocked expression. The first thing that came to her mouth was, "You wouldn't dare."

Luna waved her phone in Tina's face, her screen already on Aaron's contacts, the confession already typed.

"Okay. Fine." Tina squeaked. "But Zoey confesses today."

"Deal," Luna smirked, and Tina ran off.

"WHAT THE HECK YOU POOPY FACE DO YOU REALIZE NOW I HAVE TO CONFESS TO ALEX TODAY WHICH IS A LOT MORE EMBARRASSING THAN TINA SAYING IT?!" Zoey screeched
