# CHAPTER ONE: Settling in

As you woke up, you realised the car wasn't moving anymore.

You slowly sat up, looking around dazed.

You were at a gas stop, your mother probably gone to buy something.

Your phone rang in your pocket, realising that you totally forgot about it.

As you opened it, your eyes widened at the amount of notifications you got.

You opened twitter, thanked everyone for worrying about your health and said that you were going on a break, which meant that you would be deleting every social media for a while.

Your mother got in the car, unsurprised to see you up and gave you a pack of jelly beans to snack on.

You quickly posed them in your hand and made a photo, which you uploaded on instagram.

In the caption you wrote almost the exact same thing that your wrote on twitter, with a few changes.

You then opened the pack and started snacking on them.

You read a few tweets then logged out of your public twitter account, logging in your private one.

You did the same with instagram, then closed your phone, staring right ahead as your mother started the engine. You didn't want to get car sick, did you?

You wondered when were you going to arrive, until you saw a wooden sign reading just "South Park".

Everything was covered in snow, which was to be expected as this little town was a mountain town.

As the car engine stopped, you put your beanie and jacket on, zipping it up before leaving the car.

The air was fresh- you felt free of the stuffy city.

Your grandma came from inside the house and hugged you tight before hugging your mom.

You grabbed your luggage and headed inside, and, per your grandmother's directions, you took it upstairs.

She hadn't been here for too long, having moved from the other side of the country just shy of six months ago and adjusted nicely.

She said she liked it here more than she liked her old home, although it took her a while to accept the fact that weed was fully legal in this state.

Your room was painted white, a twin sized bed with a lightly colored wooden frame and blue flowery bedsheets was put right under the window.

You had a closet, nightstand and a table that were matching your wooden bed frame, while on the ground was a white fluffy carpet.

You dropped the box gently, heading downstairs to get the rest of your things.

The wide room was soon crowded by boxes waiting to be opened.

You sweatdropped at the sight.

It surely didn't look like you were going to get out of there soon.

It had been over two hours since you started unpacking.

Now, it would not have taken you this long if you didn't get sidetracked with every box you opened.

Well, you got it done.
