Chapter 11

Johnny's POV

Warming up with Hudes for tonight's matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs. I've invited TJ to come. I feel like most of the time she's hiding something, that something's bothering her.

Lately Sean & I are on good terms. He's happy with Heavenly & I'm happy for them. Heavenly is a shy girl, doesn't seem to open up to others.

TJ on the other hand, I'm excited to see her. She makes me so happy, she lights up my world. There's just something about her I love.

After warming up, I head back in the dressing room with only David Jones, and Mason Raymond in there. I pull out my phone and check a message from TJ saying "I need to see you after"

The team and I head out for warms ups. The C of Red was empty with only a few fans in the crowd. We all skate doing laps around our side of the ice. The rest of the fans were on the leafs side which made it easier for me to spot out TJ.

I see her seating in her usually spot, behind the net. She's wearing black jeans, and a baggy red sweater with her hair up into a bun. I got to get her my jersey.

We beat the Leafs 4-1.

TJ wanted me to meet her by her usual spot for warmups. As I go down the stairs by the glass she looks uneasy.

"Hey." I say taking a seat next to her.

"Johnny, I can't be around you anymore." TJ says with tears coming out of her eyes.

"What? Wh-Why not?" I stuttered

"You're just going to have problems with me." TJ cried getting out of her seat, walking away.

Two weeks later...

TJ's POV

"Dead!" Josh cheers a he head shots Johnny in cod.

"I'm fucking done!" Johnny yells as he throws the controller.

"Come on, we need somebody to pick on." Lance teases Johnny in a childish voice.

Johnny walks back up stairs and slams the door.

"Do you think he left?" Sean asks.

"No I have the keys." Josh says still playing the game. "He's just a sore loser."

"I think he's in my room." Sean says getting off the couch.

I follow Sean, not wanting to be with Josh and Lance. I follow him up to his room with Johnny laying on Sean's bed on his phone.

"Let's go play chel?" Sean says standing besides his bed.

"Can you kindly fuck off." Johnny says not wanting Sean around him.

"What's up with you lately? You're not the same as you were." Sean said sitting on his bed next to Johnny.

Johnny ignores him, still on his phone.

"Is it TJ?" Sean asks.

Chills came down my spine as Sean said that.

Sean grabs Johnny's phone out of his hands. "What the fuck? Give me back my phone." Johnny says pissed off.

"No. I'm calling TJ." Sean says looking through Johnny's phone.

"Why?" She's not going to pick up. I tried that already." Johnny utters.

Sean dials my number and a phone goes off.

Sean has Johnny's phone pressed against his ear "What's going on?" Johnny asks me looking strange.

I'm dead. They're going to know I am both of them.

I grab the phone out of my sweater pocket and it's Sean's phone! What a relief!

"Sean, I think you're moms calling." I say giving him his phone back.

"I'll talk to her later." Sean says turning off his phone.

Josh and Lance come up stairs to Sean's room.

"Guys look what we found!" Josh said pulling out a Ouija board, outside of Sean's room.

"The old owners of this house must've left this, we found it behind the couch downstairs." Lance pronounced.

All of us are gathered at the kitchen table, with the Ouija board set.

"Let's all put our hands in." Lance says

"I'm not feeling good about this." Johnny replied

We all put one finger on the pointer, and the board starts to move, and the temperature goes colder.

"What is your name?" Johnny asks it.

The board starts to move and it spells out "Sean"

"Sean! Stop moving it!" Lance hollers.

"K, sorry." Sean said guilty.

Again we restart the board.

The board starts to move and spells out "Heavenly"

"Shit!" I thought to myself.

"Hey, the ghost has the same name as you." Josh says looking at me.

"This is creeping me out, I think I'm just going to walk home." I murmur

"No you can't or this won't work." Lance argued

I sit back down, put my hand back on the pointer scared as shit.

"Is you name really Heavenly?" I ask it.
Knowing it can be the real Heavenly Ross.

The board starts to move, and the pointer goes to yes.

"How old are you." Josh asks

The pointer goes out to 17.

"She's still young." Sean says.

"Yeah it's like they're complete twins." Lance replied

"Are you nice." I ask it, knowing that the answer is no.

The pointer moves us to yes.

Well that's the first in a long time.

"How did you die?" Johnny asks it.

The pointer starts spelling out letters and says "bully"

"She was bullied?" Lance questioned looking like he pities the sprit.

She never told me who bullied her.

"Who bullied you?" Johnny asks it.

The points moves and spells out "cant say"

"How did you die of bullying?" Sean asks

"Suicide." Are the letters that are spelled back.

So this is either a fucking ghost impersonating my best friend or it really is her.

"Will TJ & I get back together?" Johnny asks

"Don't ask it questions like that!" Lance demands, "They don't know the future and if you don't listen to them you can die."

It's already to late and the board says "no"

Johnny looks upset and leaves the table.

"You can't go without saying goodbye!" Lance called.

Johnny comes back with a upsetting look on his face & puts his hand back on the pointer, "Goodbye Heavenly."

The pointer turns and spells out "Johnny" then goes to goodbye.

"Well that was fucking creepy." I say going into Sean's arms.

"Can I stay the night?" I say cuddling into him.

"Of course you can." Sean answered kissing the top of my head.

I feel so safe and secure with him.
