INTO THE WORLD OF MY DREAMS (Reader X Cedric)

CHAPTER 8

Y/n pov:

The train ride ended and we said our goodbyes to everyone before me and Jasmine made our way towards her dad's car.

Jasmine lived in a pretty cozy house. She lived with both her parents and her little brother.

All of Jasmine's family were as kind and sweet as her. They showed me where I'll be staying this summer and it was the room right next to Jasmine.

So far spending the summer with Jasmine and her family was quite fun.

It has been 2 weeks since we arrived and I had one week left before heading back to live with Olivia again because Jasmine and her family had a trip to go to.

Cedric, the Weasley twins, and Lee kept sending us letters and we did the same every chance we got.

Now Jasmine and I were spending the rest of the day at the beach. It was her mom's idea to head there early in the morning to have a good swim.

I got along with Jasmine's parents well. I didn't have any trouble staying with them and I tried not to be a burden on the family.

The only problem I had was with Jasmine's little brother Henry.

He keeps on following me everywhere I go! To the point, he asked me once if he could accompany me to the bathroom! I told Jasmine that her brother is weird, but she kept on brushing it off and says that's what 6-year-old boys do they love clinging to people.

I couldn't do anything. I tried pushing him away from me by getting away every time he got close or telling him off in the meanest way I could while being polite. After all, his parents were kind enough to let me spend the summer with them I couldn't just be mean to their son.

A week passed and I went back to stay with Olivia. She came all the way to pick me up and take me back to where she lived.

I didn't mind at all staying with Olivia. She didn't bother me much, she mostly lets me do whatever I desire. The only problem I have with her is that she goes to sleep early.

I continued to exchange letters with the boys on how was their summer going, but hardly sent any to Jasmine knowing she'd be too busy to reply to them anyway, so I waited until she sent me one.

Fred and George were having a blast with their summer because their brother  Bill was around and they got the chance to play some quidditch.

Lee was also having fun because he and his parents were on a trip to Egypt.

Cedric said that his summer was boring. The only interesting thing he did was that he went camping in the woods with his dad.

I told them how my summer was going. Just me watching some random shows and reading books ... it's any different from what I used to do before I came here. Maybe the difference was that I use to have my phone with me ... I miss my phone.

Finally came the day when we go back to Hogwarts.

I waited at the platform for the rest of my friends to arrive. While I was waiting I bedded goodbye to Olivia as she walked away.

"Hello Y/n" I voice called.

I turned to be met by Cedric. I sent him a smile "Hi there Cedric. How was your summer?" I asked.

He shrugged and nodded his head towards the train "Let's get in and tell you all about how boring it was" chuckled.

I giggled and followed him in. As we searched for an empty compartment I noticed that Cedric had gotten a bit taller maybe by an inch or two and so has his hair.
