Santa's 18th birthday had arrived, but there was a heavy cloud of tension between him and Earth. They had stopped seeing each other outside of work, and Santa didn't know what to do. He couldn't stop thinking about Earth, and he missed him like crazy.

At the party, the atmosphere was festive, but there was a palpable awkwardness between Earth and Santa.

The director of their series paused the music and cleared his throat. "I'm pleased to announce that the Government have removed most of the restrictions." Cheers filled the room. "Which means we're able to start filming 12%. Santa, Earth, the wait is over."

Santa and Earth looked at each other nervously through the crowd of cheering people, their eyes speaking volumes about the turmoil they were feeling inside.

Later, Santa excused himself to go to the bathroom. Needing a break from the tension. As soon as he walked in he locked the door behind him, breathing a sigh of relief. Suddenly, one of the stall doors opened and Santa was face to face, alone, with Earth for the first time in a long time. The silence was suffocating, and Santa felt like he couldn't breathe.

"I miss you," Santa blurted out, unable to contain his feelings any longer. Taking a step towards Earth and holding his hand.

Earth's eyes widened with surprise, and for a moment, he seemed at a loss for words. Then, he stepped closer to Santa, their faces inches apart. "I miss you too," he said softly.

The electricity between them was undeniable, and Santa felt his heart beating faster in his chest. He leaned in, wanting to feel Earth's lips on his, but at that moment, someone banged on the bathroom door, breaking the spell.

After the party, Santa went back to his apartment, feeling overwhelmed and confused. He couldn't stop thinking about Earth, and he knew that he needed to talk to him.

He sent Earth a text, asking if they could meet up. 30 minutes later Earth knocked lightly on Santa's door, Santa took a deep breath welcoming Earth in. Earth walked toward the couch, Santa trailing behind before he said, "I know we agreed to take a break, but I can't stop thinking about you. I need to know how you feel."

Earth looked at him with a mixture of sadness and longing in his eyes. "Of course I still have feelings for you, Santa," he said quietly. "But we have to be careful. We don't want to jeopardise our careers or the series."

Santa nodded, feeling a knot form in his stomach. He knew Earth was right, but it didn't make the ache in his chest go away. "I understand," he said, trying to keep his voice steady.

They hugged each other tightly, and Santa could feel Earth's warmth and love. He didn't know what the future held for them, but for that moment, he was content just to be in Earth's arms. They stayed like that for a while, their hearts falling into a synchronised rhythm.

A little while later, Earth knew he had to leave. As they parted ways, Earth whispered in Santa's ear, "I love you, and I always will."

Tears prickled at the corners of Earth's eyes, and he knew that Santa loved him too. But for now, they had to keep their feelings hidden and focus on their work. Santa couldn't wait to start filming the series with Earth, but he also knew that it would be a challenge to keep his feelings in check.
