Moments of silence passed as they pondered everything. Earth looked up at the moon, remembering the night by the Han river where he wondered whether Santa was looking at the same time. He smiled to himself and Santa looked at him a little perplexed. Earth explained what he was thinking and Santa smiled too.

"I used to sit and think the same thing almost every night you were gone. I would often sit in my window and send my heart through to you via the moon." Santa's heart soared knowing that his thoughts of Earth were reciprocated, even if they were countries apart.

As they stood on that rooftop, their hearts intertwined, they knew that their love was not a fairytale, but a beautifully imperfect reality. Santa gently cupped his cheeks in his hands. He took one step towards him and leaned in. Earth wrapped his arms around Santa's neck and stood on his tiptoes, meeting in the middle.

"I love you, Santa" Earth spoke the words that hadn't been said since Santa left. His eyes sparkled as a light blush appeared on his cheeks, barely visible in the night sky.

Santa's face broke into a wide grin. "You...you mean it?" He asked, Earth frowned and nodded. "I love you too!" Santa said quickly. His heart soaring. He kissed Earth again. This time with no reservations. Earth, although taken by surprise, returned the kiss with as much passion. Almost all fears melted away in this moment.

Together, Santa and Earth discovered that love was not always perfect, but it was resilient. It was a force that could heal wounds, mend broken hearts, and ignite the spirit.
