The day of the script reading had finally arrived. Santa had arrived first to Wabi Sabi studios. He greeted Director Lee like an old friend and politely said hello to the assisting director, and script writer.
Earth was stood outside the door his heart fluttered with a mix of anticipation and uncertainty.

Earth pushed opened the door to the room, his eyes scanning the room of unfamiliar faces. Suddenly, his gaze locked with Santa's, freezing him in his tracks. Time seemed to halt as their eyes met, a bolt of electricity passing between them, trying to reignite the flames of their unfinished story. The whole room seemed to be collapsing. The air sucked out.

Santa, caught off guard by the intensity of Earth's gaze, felt his heart skip a beat. In that moment, the weight of their past and the depth of their connection flooded back, the barriers they had constructed having opposing reactions, Santa's came crashing down, Earth's locked up tighter.

After what felt like infinity, Earth turned 180 and walked out of the room. Only murmuring an apology as he left. He didn't think he was ready to face it all again.

A surge of determination coursed through Santa's veins, and without a second thought, he found himself chasing after Earth. Ignoring the curious glances of others, he called out Earth's name, his voice filled with a raw mixture of longing and desperation.
"Earth! Wait!" Santa's words echoed through the corridors, a plea etched into their very essence.

Earth hesitated, his heart pounding against his chest. Santa who wasn't expecting him to stop so suddenly had to refrain from crashing into him.
"Please," he pleaded, "don't go."

Earth turned, his eyes searching Santa's face for answers. Answers to questions he hadn't even asked yet.
