Kashi's Pov~

The aromatic fragrance of turmeric reached down my nostrils and I followed it to find my mother standing at the doorway of garden with a bowl which definately contained the thick sacred paste of turmeric and kumkum.

This was it, I would be married in just three days with the love of my life, with my Aviraj.

When I remembered his name, a smile found its way on my lips without my notice and my cheeks started heating up by just the mere thought of him.

In fact, I was still not able to believe that.. soon I will become a married woman and the queen of Ruswargarh-

Suddenly a voice erupted my dreams and I looked at the direction of voice, only to find my bestie.. Charvi.

" Kashi, come and join us! Its your haldi! "

She was dancing with some mewari dancers on the beats of dholak. ( drum. )

But before I could get up and join her, the announcer announced the arrival of my one and only brother Arjun.

Charvi suddenly stopped dancing and looked at me.

' Why your brother is here? ', she mouthed and glanced in the main door's direction.

Well, I had told her he won't be present here because of some political issues regarding the crop failure.

' He's my brother, why he won't be present here? ', I mouthed back.

She rushed towards me, but before she could reach me, bhai sa ( brother ) came in between us.

" You are looking gorgeous, Kashi. "

He said with a small smile on his face and the worry present in his voice didn't go unnoticed by me.

But I decided to ignore it since it was normal for him to stay worried because issues related to Kingdom.

Bhai sa was about to leave but I stopped him by saying something.

" Bhai sa, Charvi was missing you. "

When I completed my sentence, he instantly looked at me with quetionable eyes and I nodded innocently.

He turned towards Charvi, who was still shocked by my little stunt.

" Aapne hume yaad kiya? "
( were you missing me? )

He asked Charvi in a low seducing voice.
Red colour covered her whole face and she visibly gulped down her own saliva. She was looking so nervous.

" Koi baat nahi, hume andaza hain ki hum yaad karne ki cheez hai bhi "
( Its okay, everyone misses me. )

Her cheeks turned red on his statement and the blush spread all over her face. He probably noticed it too because he didn't tease her more.

However, his eyes were still looking worried.

And in no time, I understood that he was trying to say something to me, which was at the tip of his tongue but still he was hesitating.
