Sufian's pov~

The early rays of sun shined over my face, and the rooster's scream reached down my ears.. which was enough to justify the starting of a new day.

Although, I had no energy to wake up, but somehow.. I opened my eyes lazily, and in only few seconds - a groan escaped my lips, as my hand immediately went behind and cupped the back of my neck which was sore.

This soreness was enough to make me realise that I again slept in library.
Sigh, I shouldn't be working till late night frequently.

Pushing the wooden chair, I got up and fetched my overcoat. It was already morning and as substantial amount of work was waiting for me in the courtroom, I decided to get ready and with slow steady steps started moving towards my chamber.

Stepping in my chamber, my eyes instantly noticed a femenine figure wrapped in my bedsheet and sleeping peacefully on my bed. I took at least three to four minutes to interpret the situation in my mind before moving in the direction of bed.

I took small measuring steps due to the fear of disturbing the beauty sleep of my Shah Gul. Reaching the edge of the bed, I settled down on the left space and my eyes started wandering on her sleeping figure.

I noticed that neither she has changed her clothes from last night, nor she has cared to remove some of her jewellery. Was she too tired to detach these heavy metal peices from her neck and hands? I think yes, since she didn't even go back to her chamber, unlike what I had expected her to do.

However, that is the speciality of my Shah Gul.. she's the most unpredicatble rose, which blooms only when you have least expected her to. She's that human being from whom you need to anticipate the unexpected.

Haha, in short.. she's amazing.

After this, I moved my gaze from her direction to the empty space, when a book which was kept on the table caught my attention - and a smile wider than the bed of Sindhu river found its way on my lips.

Was she reading it? Did she read the name of
The author too? Did she like it?

Millions of questions flooded my mind when I realised that the book which I had written three years ago was read by someone- no, not someone, but my wife. I had never knew that the first person to read this would be my own wife.

I think she must have liked it, although I know she isn't courteous enough to let me know.

I was in my own thoughts when a small groan from her, made me come out of my dreams. And when I turned to look at her again, I was welcomed with a sight of her moving her neck from left to right. For first few seconds, I thought that a jinn has taken the charge of her body.

But didn't take long enough to realise that she is facing discomfort due to these heavy jewelleries.

After seeing her literally squirming from here to there for one whole minute with little intervals in between, I lifted my hand and cupped her small head to stop her from moving.

And the fact that she immediately relaxed after my palm came in contact with her skin made me feel things I never knew my body was capable to feel.

" Haha, sometimes you're too cute to handle, Shah Gul. "
