"Tomorrow, you can make sandwiches for breakfast."
Eda turned to Serkan with a cheeky smile when he was walking her to the Main Hall after their usual morning walk with Sirius.
"Do I look like your slave?" Serkan snorted, but his eyes sparkled playfully. "Tomorrow, you are waking up twenty minutes earlier and doing breakfast for us. It's about time for you to learn how to put two pieces of bread together."
"Twenty minutes?" Eda groaned. "Do you know that in the morning twenty minutes is like two hours of sleep?"
"Go to sleep earlier, or this is only the excuse, and you are really all thumbs when it comes to preparing anything."
"I don't know, I never have the chance to try." Eda retorted with a big grin.
Serkan rolled his eyes and wanted to make fun of her lack of basic skills when the door to the Main Hall suddenly opened with force, almost knocking Eda off if Serkan hadn't caught her. Sirius barked at the person behind the door.
Eda's breath hitched at their sudden closeness as she found herself in Serkan's arms with her nose just an inch from his, and her heart beat so fast that she could swear everybody on the grounds could hear it. Serkan was standing still, looking her straight in the eyes, not giving any sign of wanting to let her go.
The person from the door quickly ran a couple of stairs to them, and not paying attention to their intimate embrace, said in a sweet high pitched voice that made Eda come back to reality.
"Serkan, do you have time today?"
Serkan reluctantly tore his gaze from Eda, and she pushed him away, breaking their embrace, irritated by the sudden appearance of Balca, who she could stand since the moment she heard her talking her second day here.
Serkan looked at his watch. "I can have two hours around noon. I will text you."
"Perfect. I'll be waiting." Balca beamed, and Eda pulled her lips in a disgusted grimace. How could he be making a date with another girl in front of her? He really was shameless in his conviction every girl would jump at him the moment he wanted. He must be used to it. Eda quickly backed out and turned to the door, not to witness this disgusting scene anymore. She knew Serkan looked at her, she could feel his gaze on her back, but she ignored him. When she was closing the door, she heard Balca saying in an annoying sweet voice.
"I really liked what you sent me yesterday. It was amazing."

Eda was in a foul mood the whole morning, and Serkan was nowhere to find. He probably disappeared somewhere remote to indulge in his disgusting behavior, and Eda preferred not to imagine what he was doing with that girl now. She shuddered.
Instead of eating lunch, Eda went to the kitchen pantry to grab chocolate and crisps, blaming Serkan for breaking her routine by not showing up and dragging her to the cafeteria to eat a meal.
She slammed the door of her room and settled down on her bed, eating crisps and biting into the chocolate. When she wished she'd taken a Coke from the fridge she realized she was wearing Serkan's hoodie. Eda snorted in anger. She didn't need that now when he clearly was having fun with some other chick. She only put it on in the morning because it was cold and she didn't have time to look for anything else.
Eda threw the hoodie to the floor and went to her walk-in closet to find something nice that would make her feel better. She took one of her favorite two-piece red sets that she spent weeks haunting down in vintage shops and put in on. She even did her makeup, added eyeliner, and put her hair in a half updo.
