This is The Seaways. The home of the mysterious race of what the Metkayina refer to as the Pongu ta txampay the People from the Sea. But you'll probably know them better as mermaids. Yes you heard me right mermaids. According to the Metkayina They're a very unpredictable species that to surprise they're exactly like humans but with many differences. Other than the fact that they have a similar if not exact same appearance they're completely different in their own way.

Not only can they breathe our air without any gear they have gills to help them breathe underwater their hair is usually streaked, faded or completely solid with an unnatural color. Some have human ears, some don't. One major difference is their ability to go from a pair of human legs to a tail. One other difference is they have a power that makes every other unbelievable believable the power of magic.
