I wake up the next morning with a smile on my face and then it hits me. I was smiling for the wrong reason. I'm dating Cato. I like Cato. He's sweet and funny and the best boyfriend I could possibly ask for but... Then I thought of those blue eyes. Peeta's perfect crystal blue eyes. I realize what I have to do. The only problem is I don't know how I'm going to do it.
Cato POV:
I cannot believe what Katniss did last night. I thought she loved me but I was wrong.
"Whoa Cato get a hold of yourself man. It's not over she made a mistake. Are you really going to let one night ruin 6 months of trust you and Kat have built?!" Says Marvel trying to talk some sense into me.
"Thanks Marv but I really need to go."
I say to him as I get up. I'm going to the one person I can always count on. My best friend.
