Chapter 4: School Troubles, First Group Project

It's been a couple of weeks and the school has been fine with me not going to school all the time.
I go when there's something important I need to do there.
Today I felt like going after a while, I had the car warm up as today is a cold day.

M: "Oh, Mornin' Ethan."

E: "Mornin' Ma."

I walked and hugged her.

M: "How are you hun?"

E: "I'm doin good."

M: "That's good to hear, how did yesterday go?"

E: "It went really good, I'm still question why they put me at the multi golf area. But I has fun none the less."

M: "Well I'm glad you had fun.
Where Isabella?"

E: "She stayed at Seán's house, you texted you bout it."

M: "I didn't receive a text.
But, as long as he treats her well and she's happy.
I don't mind it."

E: "Alrighty, well.
I'm off to school."

I hoped into my car, looked at the time a saw I'm way early to head to school.
So I headed down to a coffee stand before heading towards the school.
I went to park and notice my spot had something on it.
I parked and got out to see, it was a gift, from Rosie.

It read:
Dear Ethan,
I thank you so much for being an amazing person and giving me the best time I could ever have.
This gift is a thank you, and an invite to something special.
I would like to invite you and your family to meet me and my family.
The Wells meet The Tides.
I'm excited to meet you an your family.
Your favorite, Rosie.

E: "Huh.
I guess I'll show this to Mother when I get home."

I walked towards the school.

-2 hours later-

I'm walking down the hallway when I hear a commotion down another hall.
I hid around the corner to listen into a conversation.
It was a old friend of mine, who doesn't talk much, Davis and two random scum bags.

D: "I told you, I don't have anything."

Randude(RD#): "Oh don't bullshit me."

RD2: "Just give us the money and we'll bounce."

D: "I don't have anything, I'm not lying."

I slowly walked behind them.

RD: "I'm not telling you again, give us the fuckin money."

E: *clears throat*

The turn around to see me.
I just stared and stayed silent.

RD: "Oi, this doesn't concern you."

I just stared in quietness.

RD2: "Did you hear him, this doesn't con-"

Still silent and staring.

RD: "I-"

They started to get scared, than the walked off.

E: "Blood pikers.
You good mate?"

D: "I- I'm ok."

E: "Alright.
Be careful around here.
There are cunts like them who would do that regardless."

D: "Yeah, I figured."

We walked away to our classes.
I walked into the music class and was greeted by the teacher as soon as I walked in.
I think the teachers name was nicknames as Dlow.

Dlow(Dl): "Mr. Tide. Good to see you."

E: "Hello."

Dl: "I see you've been busy, so am not shocked that you haven't been in class a whole lot."

E: "Yeah, but I did get the email about a project."

Dl: "Oh Yea, today in group projects, with combination of One Music Producer, One Singer and One Beatboxer. Every will be challenged to work together to make a song using the elements of all 3 of those areas.
The group can range from 2 to 4 people.
Ethan, since you fit all three Categories, you pick 2 others to help out."

E: "I already know the two I'm picking, but this will definitely be interesting."

Everyone else showed up, class began and Dlow gave the same run down to everyone else.
Me, Rosie, and new friend I made we grouped up to and planned out what we were gonna make.

E: "So, I guess we should start off with, types of music we all like, than selecting two to combine
Me, I mainly like Pop and Electronic Music.
Rosie?"

R: "I also like Pop and Electronic Music."

E: "Oh, cool.
Marcus?"

Marcus(Ma): "Well, looks like we all like the same type of music."

E: "Well then.
So, we have the Genre, I think EDM would work since it is a mix of both Electronic and Pop."

Ma: "I agree."

I wrote down on a doc we were sharing all the different things.

E: "So, we should assign the roles before continuing.
I do classify as all three of what Dlow read off.
So, what do you guys think would be fit for you?"

R: "I think maybe a mix of Alto and Bass vocals would make it interesting."

E: "Actually, not a bad idea."

Ma: "It sounds interesting already, I am actually really good at mixing vocals and beats, so I think I'll be able to help with that part."

E: "Sounds good, so that leaves me with the main part of the song."

Dlow walked over to see how are plannings going.

Dl: "How's it going you three?"

E: "Going really good, we have everything planned out."

Dl: "Oh, let's here it."

E: "So, Marcus will be the audio editor, Rosie the vocals, and I will be the main part of it."

Dl: "Sounds like a pretty good plan.
Can't wait to see what your progress is in 2 weeks."

We spent the rest of the day planning.
I left early cause I had something I had planned later, but as soon as I got out of the car, I got gassed, and blacked out.
