Chapter 8: Help needed, Flying out to Washington State, USA

I was downstairs just thinking, when a knock was at the door.

M: "Ethan, Hun, can you get that?"

E: "Alrighty."

I got up and opened the door, it was some guy

E: "Uhh, hello?"

?: "Are you Ethan Tide?"

E: "Whats it to ya?"

?: "I am one of the Agents who are one the look for the missing personnel of SkytbmSwales. You've been selected to come to Washington State to help us."

E: "What are you on about, who are you?"

Agent Nick(N): "I am Agent Nick."

E: "Ma, can you come here."

She did so, and saw him

M: "Oh, hello."

N: "Ma'am, your son was selected as one of the people to help us look for the missing artist id Skytbm Swales."

M: "Who?"

N: "Can I come in and explain this better?"

M: "Yes, come in."

We walked to dining room, and he put down a bunch of info on the table.

N: "2 years ago, Blake Swales the person known as the artist name Skytbm Swales has gone missing, friends, family, even his own wife has no clue where he his, like he disappeared off the grid."

E: "Wait, I had a feeling like something was missing one day, so your telling me, that Entity also vanished with him!"

N: "Correct. His last known location was at his house in Washington."

Rosie came downstairs after having a long rest.

E: "Mornin' Hun."

R: "mm, morning."

E: "So Nick, is this all that's on him and this incident?"

N: "Affirmative, well, all the files I have access too, they are slowly trying to remove the info from the public then burn it to where, Sky doesn't even exist anymore."

I looked at a photo of him, then picked it up.

R: "Wait, what was his full name?"

N: "Blake M Swales."

R: *gasps* "I went to school with him, went I lived in Washington State."

I looked at the photo, and began thinking.

E: "He's an important being eh?"

N: "Yes."

E: *sigh* "Alright, I'll go."

M: "What?"

N: "You sure?"

M: "No, No. I won't allow it."

E: "Mom."

M: "No, I've spent my entire life protecting you, helping you, and keeping you in check. Now all of a sudden you get selected to go to Washington State for some thing. I can't nor won't allow it."

I hugged her to calm her, she hugged me back with small tears.

E: "Mom, I understand your grief, but, I finally found what I'm missing in life.
For years, I've been a shit head and years I've also have yet to find, what my true purpose in life is.
Maybe finding my purpose, has to eh away from home, London and Washington have similar weather styles as well as types of people.
But this put on both our shoulders, I know you've helped me pull my head out of my ass and straighten myself up, and have kept me in check.
I believe this would be a true test to see if all these years of being kept in check and finally finding someone to call love, was truly worth and made to be."

M: *sobbing voice* "I- I can't let go, not this soon."

E: "You've helped me learn that life isn't about me, it's about others before me. If helping Nick find Sky is my purpose than, I'm willing to accept that. It's may take time for you to accept it, but I will assure you mom, I will come home went the deed is done."

She held the hug long, then calmed down.

M: "You take care Ethan, good luck in your endeavors."

I turned to Nick.

N: "You ready?"

E: "I have one request of what I want to take with me."

N: "What's that?"

I looked at Rosie.

E: "I want to take Rosie with me."

N: "I'll accept it."

R: "Really?"

E: "You've been the best part of my life I could ever ask for, and you know Washington State a lot better than I.
So, will you come with me?"

R: "Yes, I would love to."

We held hands then looked back at Nick.

N: "Your school already has been notified of what's going on, so come with me and I can take you to the docks."

We followed to a jeep outside, got in then took off.

E: "So, I've never got to fully look in on who Sky is, but can you tell me what you know?"

N: "Sky is one of the most well known people in the world, he's best known for his music that he creates."

E: "What was one of them called?"

N: "I believe its called Soul Reaper, it's like a electronic style track."

E: "Sounds familiar, I'll look into it later."

We made it towards the docks and he kept driving

R: "Wait, what are you doing?!"

E: "Aye, slow the fuck down."

He hit a jump, then had the jeep turn into a boat. We landed on the water and began towards Washington.

E: *laughter* "You fuckin dick head."

We all began laughing. We continued driving, I wonder what will happen through this adventure.
