Chapter 7: The Tides Meet The Wellz, Families Get Together

Today is the day, I've been setting the table up to where everyone can sit, we didn't have a lot of chairs, so had to duplicate some to create more.
Isabella came downstairs.

M: "Morning Isabella."

I: "Mornin'."

E: "How you been lass?"

I: "I'm great."

E: "That's good to hear."

I set the last part of the table up, before helping mother put the food in the middle.

I: "What's all this for?"

M: "Rosie's Family will be coming over to meet us, think of it as a Families get together."

I: "Oh, ok."

There was a knock at the door.

E: "I'll get it."

I straightened up the tie, then opened the door to Rosie in front.
We hugged.

R: "So good to see you Ethan."

E: "It's always great to see you."

I look up to see people behind her.

R: "Oh, um, may we come in."

E: "Yes(2x), Come in.
Mother, they are here."

The followed me into the dining room, they were all greeted by mother, but she recognized Rosie's mother.

M: "Mrs. Lucy Wellz, so great to see you."

They hugged.

R: "Mrs. Tide, you know my mom?"

M: "Of course, we got to know each other after running into each other at the store."

Mrs. Wellz(W): "It's good to see you as well, Jessica.
Oh, this is my husband, Luis Wellz."

He shook hands with me.

Luis Wellz(L): "It's good to see the man that makes my Daughter so happy, it's a pleasure to meet you Ethan."

E: "Of course, it's a pleasure to meet the both of you as well."

Lucy Wellz walked over to me, and hugged me.

W: "Thank you for helping our daughter be more comfortable after our move.
She's been really nervous on how she will fit in, not only in London, but in NHS as well."

E: "I do my best to help everyone.
She's been fitting in amazingly."

Mother put down the finally bits of food.

M: "Food is ready."

Everyone took a seat, me and Rosie sat on one side as our parents sat on the other.

L: "Thank you Ms. Tide."

M: "You can call me Jessica or Jess, no need for the formal nonsense."

He looked over at me and was surprised by my height, and started asking questions about me.

L: "So, Ethan, I see you have quite the tall frame, how tall are you might I ask?"

E: "Am only 6ft."

Lucy joined in.

W: "So you often wear a suit like that?"

E: "Yes I do, it's something that I've gotten more accustom to, it also symbolizes me being a much better person than I was before, wouldn't you agree mother?"

M: "Majorly agree."

L: "It is true that you an Lucy met on the first day, then fell in love on the second day?"

E: "Its true.
We bonded very quickly, and fell in love quickly as well."

R: "You don't need to bombard him with questions."

W: "We're just curious Hun."

E: "I don't mind it really."

R: "okay."

L: "Do you have any hobbies Ethan?"

E: "Well, two big things I have a passion for are Music Production and Story Painting."

W: "What's Story Painting?"

E: "It's like creating story in ones mind with either story's I create, or music track I've made.
It's honestly amazing what can be painted if the order of tracks is correct."

L: "Interesting."

W: "Jessica, you have such an amazing young man."

M: "Agreed, he's a much better person than before."

I leaned back in my chair, and was chatting with Rosie.

E: "This is nice, you know.
I've always wondered the day I meet my lover and their lovely parents."

R: "It is definitely nice. Tho a bit awkward for me."

E: "I'm guessing you never had someoen before to not only have a quick connection, but not the long after, meeting their family."

R: "Yeah, exactly that."

E: "I know that feeling all to well. But, it's at least nice to know there are those around me who care about me deeply but also have looked after me even when in my down fall."

She hugged me.
The day was finished, Rosie's family said their final see you laters before leaving, Rosie decided to stay at my place.
We went up to my room then slept for the day.
