2nd person POV-

You walked through town with your close friend Owen (I'm not gonna use one of ur friends lol, unless u have a friend called Owen... oh well). It was late at night but you didn't mind since Insosuke and the others had recently killed the demon that had terrorised your home town. You had travelled with Nezuko and the boys for quite a while, having grown closer to Inosuke than the others. You decided to stay in your home town for a while to help rebuild it, meeting your old friend, Owen was just a bonus. But he seemed to be getting a bit to close for your liking.

Y/n POV-

Owen suddenly wrapped his arm around my shoulder, talking about the future and his aspirations. At first I thought nothing of it, until he mentioned me. "You know. You're one of the most beautiful people in this town. Such a precious jewel shouldn't be wasted on someone like that Inosuke guy" I froze up instantly, realising now why he had wrapped himself around me. "I'm not quite sure what you mean..." He looked me in the eye, putting his fingers under my chin while holding onto the small of my back, pulling me closer towards him. "I mean you shouldn't be dating that Inosuke guy. You deserve so much better, someone like me, maybe?" He started inching closer before I pushed him away. "What the fuck dude? I haven't seen you in years and now you're acting all weird. Plus I'm not even dating him.." I slightly drooped my head at the last statement, knowing someone like Inosuke would never fall for me.

I was broken from my thoughts when I heard a small scoff. "See? You love him though don't you? I guess I'll just have to make you love me."

Inosuke's POV-

M/n hadn't come back yet. They said they'd be here by now, right? I decided to look for her when I saw Onwin (what he calls Owen) trying to kiss m/n. My m/n. Their h/l h/c hair swaying slightly as they pushed him away. I waited to hear what they were saying to him. They mentioned me, and I heard Onwin mention how they loved me. They loved me. THEY LOVED ME.

I was overjoyed, my m/n felt the same way. That was until I heard, "I'll just have to make you love me." Seeing him try to get close to my m/n again.

Y/n's POV-

"I'd move if I were you" I heard a low voice come from behind Owen, "Inosuke!". Owen was frozen in fear, looking over his shoulder I understood why. Inosuke had one of his nichirin swords pointed at his back, just lightly touching it. "What are you going to do? Kill me? I don't think your little 'm/n' will be very impressed" He said mocking Inosuke. "They don't need you. You're reckless and stupid. You'll end up getting them killed! I don't know why I thought they'd ever even like someone like you."

"SAY THAT AGAIN! I DARE YOU!" I looked between the two before quickly going to Inosuke's side, trying to get him to put the blade down. Only for Owen to scoff at him. "They'd never love someone as awful as you." Within a second his head was detached from his body, as if it were one of a demons. "INOSUKE WHAT DID YOU DO!?" He looked in my direction, well I assumed so, since he still had his mask covering his face. "He deserved it. He tried to kiss my Queen and he insulted me! I am the King of the mountains."

A pink blush began to grow on my face. 'His queen?' The thought repeated over and over again in my head. "M/n?" I flinched at his touch. He just killed Owen! How could I be thinking about this while he's just murdered one of my friends! Tears well up in my eyes, "How could you?!" I quickly ran from the scene, terrified of the man I loved.

(Time skip- 30 minutes)

I was sobbing in my bed when I heard someone enter my old house, where we had been staying, my parents currently out of town. "M/n?" I heard his voice call from the other side of the house. I felt my heart skip a beat at the sound of his voice, yet I was still in shock from what he had done. What if he was going to kill me too?

"M/n, you there or not?" His voice now coming from outside of my room. Usually he would just walk in, not caring about privacy, why didn't he now? "W- what do you want? A-are you go-going to kill me too?" I ask, knowing I wouldn't get the truthful answer if he was. My door was thrown open, revealing my curled up body, my hands grabbing and pulling onto the s/c skin of my upper arm. His nichirin swords already dropped to the floor. "M/n, my m/n.. why would you think that?" He quickly made his way closer to me, pulling his mask off of his head, revealing his gorgeous face. For some reason I felt safe when our eyes locked. He just killed someone in cold blood, yet he looked at me with so much love in his eyes. "Y- you just killed Owen.. why wouldn't you kill me too?" He held my cheek in his hand, wiping away my tears. "You are my queen. You're not going anywhere." His tone sounded possessive, yet there was a hint of worry. "No one will ever hurt you. Onwin was wrong, I will protect you. Always."

I slightly shifted away from him, "But why? Why don't you kill me? You were able to kill him in two seconds." He chuckled under his breath. "I am pretty great huh? And of course it was easy to kill him! I am the great Inosuke! The king of the Mountains! I can kill a demon in seconds, why not a human? And its because I love you m/n, he tried to take you away from me and I couldn't let him. You will always be my Queen. I love you y/n" He spoke enthusiasticly, until he started his confession, a mad look in his eyes, a mix of anger and hatred but also love. Wait...

"What did y-you j-just say?" He just came closer to me once more, now pulling me into his gentle, yet protective embrace. "I said I love you y/n" I looked at him in shock. "Y-you just called me y/n! But y-you always say m/n!" I was to focused on his words to notice my tears begin to dry, they had stopped completely, I had also failed to notice our position until he dug his face into the crook of my neck. I was sat on his lap, facing him, our bodies as close as physically possible. "My y/n." He mumbled lowly, my face bright red. A smirk growing on his face at my reaction. "Do you love me y/n?" His tone was dark, almost threatening, but it still sounded almost vulnerable. "I-I do.. its just.." I sighed quietly, his head shot up to look at me.

"You-you just killed someone Ino.." his grip seemed to tighten on my waste. "But you're mine! You said you love me!" I gently moved my hands to his face. "I've loved you for so long but I can't let you kill people. It's wrong Ino! Please... please promise me you'll neve-"
"Ok" I looked at him in disbelief. "R-really?!" His face made his way back into the crook of my neck. "Anything for you my Queen.." He gently kissed my neck. "Though, I may have to if they try to take you from me. You're my Queen and you will stay that way forever."

I couldn't help but smile at him. "Ofcourse my King." He repositioned us so I was laying ontop of him, my head against his chest and his arm snaked around my hips, holding me as if I was about to disappear. "You better not leave my side. I need to know you're safe, that no one tries to take you away." I hummed slightly in response, already drifting to sleep as I felt a kiss on my head. "Goodnight Queen of the Mountains"
