To Yuvraj Dasyu,

To the great Yuvraj Dasyu and the upcoming glory of Yuradya, with great appreciation and joy, I, Princess Swarna of Abhaya, congratulate you on the magnificent victory of Yuradya over the kingdom of  Hridraj.

I wish for the glory of Yuradya. It may never face darkness of the night and always be sprinkled with light of joy and love. Happiness may bring out its true colours on the beautiful people of Yuradya.
And, I wish you hundreds of years to live and witness this bright future.

Yuvraj Dasyu, I wished to present this letter earlier to you, but due to circumstances this well wisher of you wasn't able to.

I would apologise for the delay it took me to write to you. So, in order to lighten my guilt, I have sent a beautiful gift which resembles our first meeting. I am aware that this small gift isn't worth the wait, so I have decided to apologise with a greater present.

The greater and lovely present..

Would you like to come to the orchid field?

Princess Swarna.

Swarna's POV

"MAHARAJ DHAIRYAWATH PADHAR RAHE HAIN!"

"MAHARAJ DHAIRYAWATH IS ARRIVING!"

I flinched listening to the announcement. Why would he pay a visit to me now?

"Oh my dear Swarna! I love you. I love you a lot."

He pulled me into a hug with his honey sweet words.

"I came to know that to save me, you went to Dakshpeeth alone for Sodashidhi."

"Father, I saved our kingdom."

"Yes my child. I am proud of you. Well, I would like to spend some time alone with my little daughter."

The servants left my room. We were still standing close with his hand on my shoulder and eyes locked on me. Not with love. But with hate hidden inside love.

His hand reached my hair instantly and he fisted my hair tightly making my head arch back a little.

THIS MAN!

Even after I was the one who saved him, he still has the audacity to treat me like trash.

"My senses are telling me that my little daughter enjoyed the water of Yuragini with some unknown being."
His devilish smile pulled across from his ears to ears.

My eyes flattened listening to something this unexpected. How did he know? I reached to his hand hesitantly, which was holding my hairs. His other hand instantly cupped my chin tightly making my cheek bones hurt. His chin heightened and eyes were burning like lava. His teeth grinding as he spoke,
"Remember, whatever you do, should owe me respect. And if you are found again with some nonsense like this, I won't care if Atulya becomes my only child!"
His voice raised as his warning left me shattered from within.

He left me in a jerk and I found myself likely to be falling down but I balanced myself and feathered my hair behind, looking down, not able to meet his eyes.

"Swarna! My little daughter!"

My mother entered my room with her arms wide open pulling me into a hug.

"Maa, I am not little."

"Yes, from what I have heard, she is all grown up."
My father added.

"Noo, she is still little." She chuckled caressing my hair.
The difference. The difference in both of the touches.
