Warnings! : Making out near the end.

This takes place a few weeks after the group (including Y/n) gets to Alexandria. Daryl and Y/n are friends and have been since the farm, they have acted flirty a couple times but not much so It wasn't something people suspected of them. Maggie, Carol, and Y/n become great friends with Jessie, and they hang out all the time. (Beneficial to story)

Y/n spends some time with Maggie, Carol, and Jessie for a girl's day. They sit on the front lawn, drinks in hand, Y/n with a cold beer. They talk about many things. Y/n asks a question to spark the ladies' interests. Why would she ask it? They get Y/n to confess. An encounter with said confession is later to come.

"Seriously Carol, how do you do it?" Jessie takes a bite of Carol's freshly baked cookies, her mouth full as she enjoys the sweet taste. Taking another from the plate after she's done and stuffing it in her mouth.

Carol shrugs and smirks before sipping her drink, hinting that she'll never share her secrets.

You look away from them. You notice Maggie's sudden mood change. "Maggie ya doing alright?" You ask, looking at the short haired girl.

She nods assuring. "I'm okay, just wish Glenn wasn't on a run that's all, he's been gone all day." She smiles and lays her head back on her chair. "Makes me nervous when I'm not with him." She sighs, "Y'know after everything we went through to get here, I feel like I need to watch him, like his guard or something I don't know."

You let out a breath. "I'm sure he's fine, he fights every day to be able to see you and that won't change on a simple run." She smiles at you and you both sit in silence for a moment before you speak up again.

"Maggie?" You turn your body and move your gaze to her, and your eyes shut at the sun's glare above you.

"Yeah?" She looks at you, eyes squinting before pulling her sunglasses from the top of her head to her eyes.

"How did you get married in an apocalypse? I know I was there for it all but..." You pause and sigh. "How did you find love?"

She looks at you questionably but answers. "It's hard to explain, all I remember is that when I first met Glenn, I knew he was the right one. I could just tell." She looks around at the other girls as they giggle like teenagers before looking at you again. "Why ask? Got something on your mind?" She questions raising one eyebrow.

Before you can speak, you're interrupted by Jessie. "Or someone!" She teases you with a smirk.

Maggie shoots her gaze toward you. "Are you thinking of someone? Is that why you asked me that?" She smiles not knowing you even thought about being in love in this world since you'd never mentioned it before.

Jessie nudges your arm. "Y/n who's the lucky guy!" Jessie turns to you, jumping up and down and shaking your shoulders like she's just heard the best news in the world.

You roll your eyes and smile while looking down at the beer in your hands on your lap. You fidget with the half empty bottle before taking a long sip. Your cheeks turn red as you speak. "It's nobody, don't worry about it."

Maggie and Jessie look at each other. "Tell us!" They say in unison. Jessie pokes you multiple times to get you to answer. You look at Maggie and Jessie to see them smiling, waiting for you to say something. You look at Carol for help and she shrugs before smirking. "Maybe you should tell them..." Carol says as Jessie and Maggie look at you, mouths agape.
