"Ugh.. there's no good movies out" I complained to myself as I looked at my phone then went to the kitchen to make popcorn so I'll hopefully be able to make it through the movie without falling asleep or even turning it off. I grabbed the first microwaveable popcorn I found as our landline started ringing "why do we even still own this thing?" I asked myself as I saw the number read out to say 'unknown number' wow so sketchy Wes.. I thought as I hung up going back to text amber as the phone rang again this time trying to ignore it

I sighed and rolled my eyes as I finally went over to the phone this time deciding to pick up "hello?" I asked as I heard a somewhat deep and maybe raspy voice "hello? Is Sidney Prescott there?" He asked as I started walking around my kitchen seeing if my popcorn was gonna be done "no she's not here, may I take a message?" I replied still walking to the microwave "uh yeah.. uhm yeah sorry. I'm a old friend of hers from her college. Sh*t." "From her sh*t?" I asked a smile starting to appear on my face as I took out my popcorn and threw it in a bowl "uhm look, just say I'm from her college, I'm Charlie she has my number." "Friend from college?" I asked a bit suspicious knowing her friends from college and I didn't remember a Charlie "just tell her that Charlie called." "And I will do exactly that Charlie, why don't you tell me what kind of group were talking about aa, na" "You're exactly how she describes you" he said as I stood in the spot not moving.. he must be a friend my mom never told me about if he knew what I was like- wait.. she graduated in..this isn't adding up

"What did she say about me?" I asked now getting a bit more suspicious as I checked to see if I locked my windows as well as the door.. and I did.. "well, she loves you very much"

"Oh. What does she love about me?" I replied waiting for a another reply as I walked back to the kitchen "oh okay well uhm she loves that you're creative! You love art, tv, and movies!" "Okay but lots of people love movies.." "yeah but she says you love scary movies and that you guys have that in common she's proud of making a fan out of you" "Oh really now.." I said as my thoughts added up...and his story wasn't adding up "Yeah! She told me the other day, she wonders.. what's your favorite scary movie?" "Uhm.. the conjuring it's amazing when it comes to demon possession and sh*t" "Hah..isn't that a bit fancy" "Meh, not really" "Well that sounds a bit boring to me, have you ever seen stab? " I rolled my eyes at hearing that movie name again.. sadly with being Sidney Prescott's child you hear that a lot. "Maybe once or twice I think? If anything I saw it when I was twelve at a sleepover. Worse movies I've seen" I replied "...you live in woodsboro and you haven't seen stab? Sidney Prescott is mentioned in it! How well do you remember the original stab?" The caller asked " i don't know! It's super nineties.. everyone had weird hair" I replied grabbing my bowl of popcorn and starting to eat it "do you remember the beginning?" He asked "not really, it started with a kill scene right? It always starts with a kill scene-" "Yeah! That's right! It's a girl at home alone she answers the wrong number and starts talking with the killer who makes her play a game.... Would you like to play a game Y/N Prescott?" He asked as I looked at the phone and hung up putting the phone on the counter.. I armed my systems and texted my mother before checking the blinds to see no one out there then going back to text amber as the phone rang again and I walked to it seeing amber texted me again
