Today, I got a text from my best friend Xiao!

I haven't seen him in a year now, so getting a text from him asking to hang out is really nice.

I asked him what the plan was for today, and he said we were going to go to a coffee shop with kazuha.

I replied with an "okay 👍" and got dressed into a casual outfit.

I then started heading to the coffee shop, but then, I noticed somebody familiar.. Aether?

I would have said hi to him, but I quickly looked away and decided not to get involved with that weirdo if it's not needed... he gives an off vibe, after all, and I prefer to make life as less stressful as possible.

Keeping that in mind, I walk faster to that coffee shop.

After about 5 more min, I make it there.

"Aww, it's an animal cafè." I think aloud while walking in.

I looked around but something seemed strange... Xiao and kazuha, weren't there? Huh..

What's even more odd is that I see Aether there sitting and waiting.

He waves and smiles... what the hell is happening?

Walking up to him, I say

"This obviously isn't a coincidence.. what do you want?"

He then looks back and flashes me his usual princely smile.

"Sorry.. I just really wanted to get to know you, and I heard a lot about you from Xiao, so I asked him to lie and say it's him and kazuha meeting you here because I figured you were off by our first meeting... thinking back on it now, I feel like this wasn't the best approach either ahahaha... sorry again.. I'm not a complete creep still!"

What he said sounded like complete bullshit and none of it really made sense or added up, but I am a little interested in him now.

I looked up the 4nemo members and found out he was an ex member of the band to.

Maybe I can befriend and have him tell me what happened then.. maybe just maybe, then I can figure out what happened to venti..

"I guess I can spare some time."

I'm such a hypocrite.
