1. Shawn destroys a mailbox with a cherry bomb, with the help of the cool kids at school.
2. After Shawn destroys the mailbox, Shawn panics. Shawn comes to Cory for help, and Cory freaks out too.
3. Shawn hides under his friend Cory's bed for a whole weekend, scared of punishment for what he'd done.
4. Cory keeps his friend's hiding spot a secret from all the adults.
5. Cory eventually feels guilty when the adults go searching for Shawn.
6. Cory convinces Shawn he needs to come out of hiding and tell the truth.
7. Cory and Shawn tell Cory's parents Alan and Amy where Shawn was and that he is safe.
