Author's Note

Hi, sorry for the late update,
I just finished my finals 3 days ago and I fell sick right after finishing,
I am still recovering but I wrote you this tiny Chapter, there will be more details and plot twist to come as more characters will be appearing in the next chapters
Also, the plot of the original series will change drastically as you may consider this a completely different version of the original one, this one focuses on Lilliana and her journey to discover herself, her relationship with Geralt, and many other side characters from the show.

Lilliana's POV

It was a peaceful night,
But morning always comes with new hope,
Surprisingly though, I woke up first,
And despite Geralt's sharp senses and his always alert nature, he seems to be putting his guard down when he comes here.
I am glad he feels safe here.
Calm.
Rested.

For starters, I don't think I am getting out of bed today before he does,
He cradled me at night, and now our limbs are entangled, half his weight is on me, his arm is thrown on my waist,

I don't even mind spending the morning like this.

I am not going to the village today, I got extra stuff yesterday so I could spend the rest of my days here with Geralt since I got the rare luxury of spending 3 nights with him.
Well, 2 nights now.

I watched him sleep right next to me,
He was beautiful.
Relaxed, almost certain he looked... Happy.
I could get used to that..
To having this morning on repeat for the rest of my life.

I watched him sleep peacefully for another half an hour before his eyes slowly opened adjusting to the beaming light.

"Morning", he rasped

"Good morning, my favorite Witcher in the entire world", I chuckled cheerfully.

"Oh, so I am your favorite ?", he teased.

"Oh....well, you really are just...my only Witcher", I mumbled softly

He chuckled placing a kiss to my cheek.

"Breakfast ?" I jumped in excitement

I feel so much energy pulsing inside me, this could be good or bad, I can't determine that now.

"hmm.", he hummed gently

I jumped and got refreshed quickly then went in the kitchen.

"Good morning Luc, it's one of those days, I know it's an inconvenient time", I mumbled as Luc jumped on my shoulder and started sniffing me

"But hey, he wouldn't notice, I will make sure of that", I smiled.

"He has too many things to worry about, I am not about to add to them", I didn't even get to finish the sentence..

"What and who ?" his deep voice came from behind

"Ah !" I jumped in my place putting a hand on my chest

"Geralt, I swear to god.."

"Sorry.." he chuckled

"How come I never ever hear your footsteps, do you like fly around ? is that a Witcher thing ?" I mumble chuckling softly

"Don't change the subject", he smiled wrapping his arm around my waist and pressing his body to my back.

"What subject ?", I mumble softly

"Lilly..." he whispered

"Ugh," I whine
"It's really nothing, it's just..." I pause

"Just...?" he ask humming
