02 | Falling apart

❝ On days I hate being myself, days I want to disappear forever ❞

Lisa was crying in a mess. She was barely able to drive back to her house and she somewhat made it back to her house in 45 minutes. Her life is now messed up, she was crying very badly  while her phone was buzzing up with missed calls and texts from Jungkook and his friends whom she's trying to ignore. She is not ready to face them right now, anywhere she looks, it always reminded about him. 

Hours passed, it was very early in the morning. Lisa was sitting in her bed lifeless as she wasn't able to sleep and get that incident out of her head and heart. She had no strength nor tears left to cry, even though she was heartbroken by that incident she was thinking about how Jungkook was. 

How he is and how he's feeling, if it was an accident or the girl took advantage of him while he was drunk, what he would be facing right now, how his mindset will be. She was thinking nonstop about him, she knew very well about Jungkook and how he wouldn't do anything to hurt her this much. But now she needed some time, some time to clear her mind and some time for herself. 

Jungkook's side.

Jungkook was totally heartbroken and mentally unstable, he didn't know how he ended up in this situation. He tried calling and contacting Lisa for more than 50 times but there was not even 1 reply back from her. He knew how she was feeling, he was crying and torturing himself badly. He locked himself inside the room and refused to eat nor come out. 

His friends were deadly worried about him. Rosè, Jaehyun and Taehyung were trying to solve this problem. They were trying to get the details of the girl from the club.

Jungkook was physically and mentally exhausted, his body was weak. He knew that he wouldn't do such things with others. He knew he was tricked and was r*ped, he felt disgusted with himself. He went inside the bathroom and removed his shirt and looked at himself covered with all the bruises and hickeys, he was disgusted to the point where he couldn't stand it anymore. 

So he turned the shower on and harshly tried to remove the marks by scratching himself which made things even worse. After a few minutes he failed in succeeding to remove it as he was weak he just sat down and cried in the shower until he eventually passed out. His friends got worried and broke inside his room just to see him unconscious inside the bathroom while the shower is still on. 

They panicked and rushed him to the hospital. After being admitted in the hospital for a few hours, they finally got him discharged and brought him back home. Jungkook was still hospitalized at home as he was super weak. Tae, Jae and Chae (Rosie) were super worried about him and Lisa so they decided to pay Lisa a visit. 

When they went to Lisa's house and saw her they were very shocked. She looked very weak and her eyes were red, they were even more worried now. Even though all this happened but still she welcomed them with a tired smile, they saw how Lisa walked weakly into the kitchen to grab them some water. While she was bringing the water she almost fell due to the weakness in her body but taehyung caught her at the right moment. 

"Lis, you alright?" Jae and Rosie came up to her with a worried and shocked expression. 

"Ye-yeah I'm fine." She sounded so weak. 

"Lili, what happened? You look so weak and tired." Rosie was very worried. 

"Nothing much, I think it's because I didn't sleep well. That's all." she fake laughed. But they were all serious. 

"Guys, it's fine. I'll just take some sleeping pills and I'll be good." she sighed. 

They just looked at each other with worried expressions. 

"Guys, it's fine. Really! I think I kinda know what you're going to talk about with me now. So let's just get into it. I'm all ears." She made them sit and waited for them to start talking.

"Lisa, so I guess you know what we're gonna say but before that let me tell you about his condition right now." Jaehyun started the conversation. 

Lisa's expression changed slowly into a nervous and sad one. 

"So he was admitted in the hospital earlier and he just got home a few hours ago, and he's still hospitalized at home. Well he locked the room and refused to eat and see us, so we broke into his room just to witness him lying unconscious in the bathroom with the shower turned on. It seemed like he was torturing himself and we saw a lot of scratch marks in his body. 

We assume that he did that to his body and the doctor said that he was physically and mentally weak and exhausted. He needs love and care, it also seems like he's in depression because of that incident." Jaehyun looked at Lisa who tried not to cry. 

"Ha-how is he now?" she bit her lower lip. 

"He's still unconscious, he'll regain his consciousness in possibly a few hours or more. We're not sure." Jaehyun looked down. 

"Lisa, take some rest and then think about it later, first take care of yourself. We'll stop by again later, ok?" Rosie hugged Lisa. 

"Ok, thank you so much guys and sorry that you guys got dragged into our mess" Lisa looked down. 

"What are you talking about lili? We're friends and friends are always there for each other right?" Taehyung said and everyone nodded.

"Yeah you're right! Thank you." She then bid them goodbye and took sleeping pills and went to bed.

After an hour and half Lisa woke up feeling very tired and she kept thinking about Jungkook. She was already worried about him after hearing about his condition. She got more worried and anxious so she thought to pay him a visit so she was getting ready now.
