Osamu's daggered glare was unrelenting as he waited for an answer to the question he'd found him self simmering in for the entire ride back to the hotel. It just didn't make any sense to him— the way you had only just moments before told him that this was nothing more than an outing between colleagues, and then completely switched up the entire notion by introducing yourself as his girlfriend.
He figured why you would do such a thing; the woman seated next to him was incredibly flirty. The part that he was having difficulty wrapping his head around, was why you would even care about such a thing in the first place.
"So? Are you gonna answer my question?"
He's not gonna let you shrug this one off.
"Huh? I don't know what you're talking about," you respond with faux oblivion, carefully avoiding eye contact with the man standing tall before you.
"Stop, y/n. This isn't funny— you got my head spinnin' with how you keep switching up so quickly and I'm gettin' tired of it."
You take a deep-breathed sigh before standing up in front of him— your arms subconsciously cross over your chest as your form such a guarded stance— one you've come to know as your default setting. The two of you have accumulated so much bitter resentment for each other that the tension could be sliced apart by a butter knife and yet, you find yourself feeling like you could just fall right into his arms as you continue to ride the high of the amazing 'date' you just had with your so called 'worst enemy.'
