The horse's hooves sounded heavy on the damp, patchy ground. He stomped lightly in place, eager to continue moving, but his rider loosened his hand gently and relaxed in the saddle, making the horse calm down, even if he was still lightly chewing his bit.
The rider was an eerie sight, so large he made his big horse look like a normal-sized one. He wore a grey cape with a hood so as not to be recognised. The sight of him was enhanced by the moon shining upon him as he rode.
He had been riding for a full day when he finally came to the little village. The village was sparsely inhabited seeing the people who lived here were farmers, and acres of land stretching between each dilapidated farmhouse. But the man on the horse found the right house immediately.
He sat off his horse and bound him, then opened the door casually as it wasn't locked, just as he had thought; people in small villages like this never locked their doors. There was a sound of rustling, and soon a man came down holding a rifle, with what must have been his wife hiding behind him.
The man in the cape felt hatred run down his entire body that burned so bright, he had to clench his fists and dig the nail of his thumb into his skin so it started bleeding just to be able to control himself.

The man in the cape removed the hood from his head, and the man with the rifle and his wife gasped. Before them stood ab albino man with a handsome face contorted in hatred, his white hair as pale as the moon outside.
"The death of you", he said.
The man and the woman didn't even have time to register what was happening before he had drawn his sword, not his own but the one he had gifted to his lover before his time abroad, and beheaded them. He wanted this particular sword to be the one that did the deed-
Then, the albino man turned and casually left.
He had removed the curse from his lover.
What the albino man didn't know, however, was that by killing the man and the woman, he had once more tipped the balance of the amount of evil in the world.
His lover had been rid of the curse, but the amount of evil was now to such a point that the next child to be born in the world to an evil human would be cursed in his stead. Had the albino just let this be, it would have been centuries before the next cursed child was born.
But the albino man would never find out that he had just moved the suffering from his own innocent lover to another innocent child, and neither would his lover.
Had they known, who knows what the albino man would have chosen to do...
