Still under the blanket with their foreheads pressed together, they breathed each other in as they relaxed in lingering euphoria.
The small hamster had returned, crawling over them and resting on Loki's forearm, which was still wrapped around Sylvie's waist.
"It appears it's decided we've had enough time to ourselves for now."
Sylvie looked at it carefully, "You know Loki if this is Alioth and it knows us, maybe we can use that to fight Kang somehow. "
A voice came to them then from outside the blanket, "Yes, that may indeed be the case. "
Both of their eyes widened and they pulled the blanket down off their heads. Sylvie's demon counterpart looked back at them.
Sylvie reflexively panicked and flicked her eyes over to Loki, then back to the demon, "How long have you been awake?"
The demon cast her eyes up in thought, "I woke up after receiving an important message in a dream. You seemed busy at the time so I didn't want to disturb you."
Sylvie took a deep breath to centre herself, pushed the pointless flush of embarrassment to the side, then laughed at the demon variant, "I guess I should have known since I wasn't getting slapped in the face with a tail every five minutes."
The demon smiled mischievously, "I am sure Fandral is the main culprit, but anything's possible."
Loki jumped in at this point, "Did Strange contact you again?"
The demon shook her head, "Not as such, rather I was able to enter the dream of the other like us, the father of my children. He is able to dream when in your home reality and I can reach him there because we are the same. Your friends are waiting for you. The small creatures who have been following you are in fact the one you named Alioth."
Sylvie breathed deeply, "Can you get them to call you again and get more information."
"That is the plan, they will call me this evening, which will still be some time for us."
Sylvie squeezed Loki's hand under the blanket, "Would you be able to take someone back?"
Loki's eyes shot to her in distress. She rubbed his forearm to comfort him.
The demon nodded, "Yes, of course"
"Can you take two?", she looked back at Loki who breathed out in relief.
The demon replied confidently, "Easily, and don't worry, any Kang that shows up in our universe will not last his first night."
She grabbed her chin in thought, "There is just one problem..."
Loki soon learned what that problem was.
They had no way of knowing just when Strange would summon her. The demon cast the same spell she had before, bands of green connecting one of them to each hand, but they were going to be stuck like that for who knows how long.
At first they decided to get some sleep since that was the favourite activity around there anyway, but they couldn't sleep forever.
After what seemed like days attached to an increasingly pregnant demon, and more awkward situations than he wanted to count, they were finally sucked through a vortex to the other side.
Loki, Sylvie and the demon arrived in the summoning room of the Sanctum after a disorienting journey. As soon as the walls came into focus, the demon released them, and they both flopped down to the floor.
