Chapter 18

Taylor's dress

When we got home from the park I felt like we were a family again now we had a dad, it just felt better that if we need someone to talk to we have our dad now and I think it will make life easier.

I had to get ready into the dress Molly and I found it was pink it goes down to about the middle thigh and it had a white bow around the waist. I do my hair, I just leave it down and curl it, I put the dress in with a pair of white flats because I can't walk in high heels and I do my make up I put on light make up and I little bit
of lip gloss.

I start to walk down stairs and I see Nick he is wearing a black shirt with the top button open and a pair of blank jeans.
"Wow look at you two" dad said
"Where are use going" he ask us "dont know are friends won't tell us it's surprise" Nick says
"Alright smile for the camera " my dad takes the photo and says "i wish I was there for every moment taking lots of pictures" "um well we took lots of photos theirs a photo album in in the kitchen in the third cupboard" I tell him he smiles and then the doorbell rings I open the door and see Molly "hey mo" hey tee are you ready" she say really exsided "yeah coming Nick " "um.... why did you call may to tell her not to babysit" she asks "my dad is babysitting" she seems a little shocked but she smiles "ok then let's go" a walk out the door and there is two texi's "that one is the girls texi and that is the boys" she point to the two cars "come lets get in the texi we are going to the same place" she said.
I get into the texi and I see Paige, pepper, Rita (Nick girlfriend) and no way Bonnie "hey girl" bonnie said "bonnie I thought you lived in New York" I said giving her a hug bonnie was my best friend when I was little and when my mum was living with us and then she had to move away "well I moved back my mum get a job here and i met milky when I was shopping and she told me you were going out and she invited me" "really thanks mo I owe you one" i say "no problem" she said and I give her a hug. "oh and pepper thanks for what happened a couple of weeks ago if you didn't come over I people's would have been beaten more" "anytime Taylor" she said.

"so your dad is babysitting when did this happen and how?" She ask I told what happened earlier "you dad really does have a heart then" molly says "yeah I am glad but I am still annoyed at him he blocks us out for 4 years" a look out the window and say "where are we going" "ok I'll tell you we are going to have dinner in a restaurant and then we are going to dance the night away I know it doesn't sound like much of a surprise but you always tell us you just like to spend time with family and friends so we thought just a little night out like this would be fun oh and you know you always say you would like to go lazier tag well we are going to take you to it tomorrow your brother wanted to go to so we are all going tomorrow" Paige tell me with the biggest smile ever "really thanks and a dinner with my friends and brother is the best idea cause I have always wanted to do that so thank you" I smile at them.

The car stops after 20 minutes and we all get out of the var and I see my brother and his friend Mike, Calum, Josh, Conner (Paige's brother and Molly date to the dance), jack (Paige's boyfriend), Luke (peppers boyfriend and he helped me when carman beat me up) and..... Matt why is he here I don't think he is friends with my brother or maybe he is. "Um.. Paige what is Matt here" I ask "well he is friends with you brother don't know how that know each other and he has a crush on you" she elbows me I roll my eyes. we enter the restaurant I sit beside Molly and bonnie the restaurant was nice they were lot of purple dancing and some sitting down and eating. we sat at two tables the biys on one and the girls in the other.

After we ate pepper and Luke went dancing so did Nick and Rita. Molly had went with Conner to dance too. bonnie and me talked forever just catching up and Paige was sitting beside jack at the other table. "you know your brothers friend Mike is pretty cute" bonnie says i shake my head she was always the one to fancy every boy she sees "what he is oh wait you don't like him because you like Matt" hers eyes get bigger "no I don't like Matt" "why not he likes you" i roll my eyes "so" she smiles at me and says "he's coming this way" "what" I say straightening out my dress "hey" he said "hey Matt" I turn round to him "are you having fun" he ask "yeah oh and this is Bonnie she an old friend of mine she moved away when we were little and now she's back" I say smiling at her she shakes his hand " hey tee I am going to go dance with mo" yes Bonnie was the first person to call me tee and then it was Molly and we all call each other nick names Bonnies is Bon or Bon Bon like the sweet. Matt takes the sit beside me "um I hope you don't mind me asking how do you know my brother" I ask "I was in the locker room when I saw your brother annoyed about something so u asked him why he was so annoyed and he said it was Rex had ask him to give him your number so he could try to talk to you and he wouldn't leave him alone so I just give him some advice and that really why we're friends" "ok" I take a sip if my drink "do you want to go dance" he asked me "um sure" we both stand up and go to the dance floor and we dance for about 5 minutes when he said "Taylor I hit you I gift" "you did you didn't need to buy me anything" i say "I didn't buy you anything" his lips smashed against mine and his hands on my waist it took me a second before I realised what happened I wrapped my arms around his neck and I kissed him back he pulls me away and says "I have been wanting to do that since the day I met you u really wanted to ask you to the dance but I was scared you would say no" "why would I say no" I ask "I don't know" he says his hand still on my waist and my arms still around his neck I smile at him I like him a lot more then Rex he was kind, friendly and caring Rex was not he was selfish. " do you want to get some ice cream" he asks "sure we sit down and wait for someone to come over to my s they took are order and a couple of minutes of talking they brought them over. we sat and talked about different things.

An hour later Matt went to use the bathroom and Molly can running over to me "tee he kissed you didn't we tell you he like you" "shut up mo" "what it's true" I smiles at her she sits beside me and says " so we are going to have to go soon did you have fun" "yes of course I had fun, when I spend it with my favourite people" she smiles at me "I call I texi to come in 20 minutes" she gets up and walk away some where quit. Matt came over and sat beside me "Matt is your real name Matt" I ask him "no it's Mathew but most people call me Matt I like it better" he tell me putting his arm over my shoulders and I rest my head on his shoulder "alright then Mathew" he fowns "Taylor don't call me that" "ok matt" he smiles at me when I say Matt.
When the taxi came we all left Matt had his arm around my waist and I rested my head on his shoulder and we sat together in the taxi with Molly, Conner, Paige, and Bonnie. there where to more taxis we sat in peace not a word from anyone.

before I left Matt kissed me on the cheek and I climbed out waving as that left Nick but I'd arm around my shoulder and says "did you have fun?" "yes I did Nick, did you?" "Yep I did" we walk inside and walk into the sitting room where we found the TV on with dad, the boys and jody a sleep on the sofa I laugh quietly, Nick does too. I walk over and left Ben and jody of the sofa and carry them up stairs to bed and I tuck them in and kissing them both in the forehead we woke up dad cause we were not lifting him to bed and he lifted jack and Nick lifted shane. I get changed and climbed into bed I think today was the best day of my life so far.
