"You can't spend the rest of your life wallowing in this miserable mindset, Draco."

The blonde looked up at Pansy who was standing before him in the great hall, "Yes I can."

She groaned and rolled her eyes as she sat down across from him, "Why won't you tell me what you're so miserable from? I just want to help. Blaise as well. We're here for you."

"Yeah man," Blaise said from beside him, "We just wanna help."

"There's nothing you can do. Besides, I'm fine."

"We all know that isn't true." Pansy sighed, "You'll feel so much better if you just talk about everything that's going on in your head-"

"Just leave it alone Pans," He sighed, "There's nothing you can do."

"Can't you just let us at least try to help you?"

"I don't need any fucking help!" He snapped catching the attention of a few students passing by. Pansy looked seriously concerned and Draco couldn't help but feel bad for lashing out on her, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell-"

"I know." She replied softly, "We just want to help you. We're really worried about you."

"You don't need to be. I'm fine."

"Draco, you don't eat, you don't speak, you don't sleep. That is not fine. You are not fine." Blaise said.

Draco knew he was right. But then again, these were things he'd been doing since he could remember. Falling asleep as a child after a hard beating from your dad was tough. Sleeping after watching one of your professors be murdered at your kitchen table wasn't easy either. Draco never slept. And he'd always had trouble eating. Since he was a little kid. Narcissa had to practically force the food down his throat. The speaking part was different. He found that if he didn't speak, he would less likely be stared at, talked about or pushed around.

"I'll be fine." Was all he said though. He stood up, "I'm gonna go to the astronomy tower. I need to clear my head."

Pansy grabbed his arm before he could leave, eyes glossy, "Can I come with you? I don't trust you there alone. Not after.." She looked down.

Harry, who had been standing there for nearly the entire conversation, had been trying to find the right time to ask Draco if they could work on their project after dinner but he didn't want to interrupt the important conversation.

"I'll go with him." Harry chimed from behind them. Pansy and Blaise looked beyond confused, "We're working on a project together. I was just about to come get him to work on it actually." He chuckled a bit as he looked at Draco, "Come on."
