Khushi: dad can we talk please?

Shyam: not now Khushi later

Khushi: dad please it's urgent and you are not busy so we can talk

Shyam: Khushi I said later don't you understand I want to be alone?

Khushi: mom called me and told me about what happened so I want to know why you did that to her dad why are you hurting my mother? you promised to let her move on but when she was ready you are not allowing her why dad, why?

Shyam: be mindful of your words and tone young lady I won't let you talk to me like that.

Khushi: I will leave this house and this country if you don't tell me what happened dad because I don't believe you will sleep with mom when you already have a wife.

Shyam: I didn't sleep with her I just lied beside her that morning she wasn't well so I went to check up on her so I guess I might have dose off and I didn't even noticed she was naked because she was covered in a blanket

Khushi: then why didn't you explain to her? you just glared at her and came straight to India why did you both fight that night didn't you want mom to move on with Ranbir uncle? I know she talked to you about him and you got angry

Shyam: Khushi for your first question your mother was still naked when I came back from the bathroom and I was trying to avoid looking at her, she stood naked in front of me so I had to leave because we may not be together anymore but she is the woman I have loved and the mother of my daughter so she will still be attractive to me and looking at her being naked will be a problem for me

Khushi: and my second question? I need clarification dad do you want mom to move on or not?

Shyam: Khushi I wasn't angry because your mother wanted to move on but I was angry because she wanted that man to adopt you so that you can stay with them when they get married if she wants to move on I'm happy for her and I will give my blessing  in a heartbeat but I won't let another man have all the right on you while I still live that was why I was angry and I'm still angry with her Khushi.

Khushi: what I mean she can't just decide that without me I'm no more a child but dad call her and clear things with her because she is going to reject that suitor because she thinks she slept with you.

Shyam: okay I will do that are you happy now?

Khushi: yes because I don't want my mother or Anjali ma to get hurt.

Shyam: hmm now can I rest now?

Khushi: sure bye

Shyam was happy he shared his worries with Khushi because he was tensed about Khushi chosing to stay with her mother and agreeing to her demand but now he is okay so he called Aliyah and explain what happened that night.

Lavanya: Arey Khushi there's a handsome hunk of a man looking for you

Khushi: who might that be? thinking for a while oh erm let him in
Just as Lavanya left Khushi saw Rehan entering her office

Rehan: Kiya I bring news to you baby

Khushi: and what is that Han as you can see I was busy when you barged in

Rehan: well we have hit the jackpot and I received your award on your behalf as the artist and best song of the year

Khushi: wow Han thanks so much dear you have made my day okay let me see looking at her watch give me 5 minutes so that we have lunch together my treat

Rehan: yes you are paying because your album was sold out I mean all of them and the money is resting in your account so it's only fair you pay for the food

Khushi: yes I will now let's go

The left the office together with Khushi holding onto Rehan's biceps and fails to recognized the feature of the person who was boiling in anger when the passed by him without any recognition

Later in the day

Arnav's office

Arnav: who was that Khushi? I mean the guy you were clinging to as if your life depends on it

Khushi: just a friend Arnav, he came to inform about something important and I decided to treat him lunch

Arnav: and you didn't even look at me you walked passed me as I 2as invincible to you

Khushi: Arnav stop whining like a pregnant woman and listen to me, I didn't see you okay and please don't give me that look because I would have introduced you two if I had seen you, by the way why didn't you call out to me?

Arnav: I didn't want to destroy your date so I came back to my office

Khushi: it wasn't a date and Rehan is a brother to me and for your info he is dating my best friend okay?

Arnav: calming down okay let's not make an argument from this I'm sorry I was a bit jealous seeing you with another guy

Khushi: well at least you felt a little of why I feel anytime those witches try to come close to you

Arnav didn't reply he just went back focusing on his laptop and making few call so Khushi took it as a cue and left the office

Man: hello Shyam long time no see so where is your daughter the last time I saw her she was little and I hope you have finally brought her to India with you?

Shyam: Mr Kumar she is doing good and yes she is staying with me but my family doesn't know I have a daughter and I intend to keep it that way

Mr. Kumar: okay I understand but I will be going back to the state and if you don't mind can I see her before I leave?

Shyam: l will let her meet you at the airport thank you for your understanding

Mr. Kumar: okay call me tomorrow and I will tell you the flight updates

Shyam: okay Mr Kumar bye and safe journey.

He turned to find Payal and Anjali looking at him and lucky for him they heard nothing or he would have been in serious trouble
