Chapter Nine

That Same Night

"Where is Jimin Eomma?" Joon asked his mother.

"Ohh he already went to sleep because he was tired." Mrs.Park replied.

"Did he eat dinner?" Joon asked with a worried face.

"Yes Joonie now go eat then go to sleep yourself." Mrs. Park said again.

"No Eomma, I'm gonna check him." Joon said.

"No Joonie let him sleep please don't disturb him okay." Mrs.Park said.

"Okay Eomma I'll leave him alone this one time." Joon said as he walked towards his own room.

Time Skip

Taehyung was still pacing around the hospital waiting room waiting for any news on his dad.

When Taehyung was on the verge of breaking down and cursing a nurse finally approached him to talk to him about his dad's condition.

"I want answers and I want them now." Taehyung said to the nurse before she could even say anything. Taehyung then continued "And no beating around the bush tell me the truth about what happened to my dad now speak."

"Well Mr. Kim, it doesn't look good he has been poisoned with a severe amount of Ricin poisoning." the nurse said as Taehyung was now on the floor, thinking about what was just said along with thinking about who could have done this to his dad.

Taehyung not moving from his spot and without looking at the nurse, asked "If his dad was okay and if there was a cure and if not then how long does he have."

The nurse was talking but Taehyung zoned out and was really deep in thought thinking about all the people who could have come in contact with his dad while another nurse came out and said "He's awake and would like to see you Mr. Kim."

Taehyung thanked the nurses and walked to the appointed room of his dad to talk to him.

"Dad." Taehyung said "What is this all about, more importantly who have you been letting cook your food?" Taehyung's dad struggled to answer all the questions that his son was bombarding him with when he finally spoke it was to shut his son up and ask him to just stay by his side for awhile and that they would talk about everything tomorrow once he feels a little better and Taehyung agreed.

Once his dad fell asleep Taehyung slipped out of the room to call Jimin again but Jimin didn't pick up so Taehyung called and left a voicemail along with several texts.
