Chapter Twelve

That night

"Tae I missed you so much that I canceled my trip to come back home." Ruby said as she sat on the bed next to Taehyung trying to kiss him but Taehyung was too busy scrolling through his phone as he was checking Jimin's IG.

"Ruby please I have a lot of work to do so ple...." Taehyung's words trailed off.

"What's wrong, honey you seem so down these days and I ju...." Ruby's words were cut off by Taehyung.

"Ruby please, I have a lot of work to do." Taehyung said again without even looking at Ruby.

Her face changed as she furrowed her eyebrows and she sighed while shrugging her shoulders saying "Hmm okay Tae." and then laid down on the bed to go to sleep.

Once Ruby fell asleep Taehyung got to work but with Jimin in the back of his mind along with what happened earlier that day and called Ace.

But Ace didn't pick up, instead it was Snape

"Hey Ace wait Snape why do you have Ace's phone?" "Because Ace is having fun with someone right now." and at that Taehyung became a little unsettled

"Well tell me where y'all are at because we have work to do and I need Ace sober not drunk." Taehyung said.

"Yo Snape, get off the phone and get over here now." The bartender yelled.

"Snape wait the bar tell me now." but Snape hung up the phone without saying anything else. "Well I guess I'll go see Dad then and then try Ace again later." Taehyung said .

Taehyung arrived at the hospital.

And saw none other than his two friends there "What the hell happened?" Taehyung asked as he walked over to his friend as if it wasn't something new.

"Where were you guys?" Taehyung asked again.

"We were at Death & Co bar with some old friends of ours." Snape said.

"And whose girl did this dumbass mess with to end up here?" Taehyung asked "Dude it was this massive well bilt motherfucker who wait a minute. How did you know we were here? I never called you to say that we were on our way to the hospital." Snape said.

"Hmm well where else would you be going after a night out with this idiot?" Taehyung said.

"Yeah I guess you're right Tae." Snape said.

"Hmm sorry Dad I guess I'm not seeing you tonight." Taehyung whispered.

"Did you say something Bro?" Snape asked "What no let's just get this idiot better so that way we can get to work." Taehyung said.

"Tae." Snape called.

"Yeah Snape what is it?" "What is the work that we need to get done?" Snape asked.

"Well my Father was attacked and I need your help t...." Taehyung's words were cut off by Snape saying "Wait a minute your Dad as in your Biological Father was attacked and you the person that hates him more than anyone I know wants to help him by finding out who did it to him your really funny Bro."

"Yeah!" Ace chimed in "Really funny joke Bro."

Taehyung being irritated hit both Snape and Ace. "Yeah what was that for?" They both said in unison .

"For being idiots I'm serious you guys he's here in the hospital." Taehyung said.

"So that's why you were really here, well let's go see him then." Snape said.

Both Snape and Taehyung help Ace to stand so that way they can walk down to where Taehyung's father was.

As they bickered and joked around while walking to Taehyung's father's room they stopped when they heard voices coming from his room.
