"i'm gonna go peak at everyone here, aves. i'll be right back." i said to aven as the makeup artist worked on her eyes.
"okay. i love you."
i slightly picked up my emerald green dress and started to walk out to where everyone was. i rounded the corner to go into the main space when i bumped into someone.
"oh i'm so sorry! i just wanted —" i started to say, but stopped when i saw who it was.
"evie..hey.." logan started, but couldn't finish before i turned on my heel and bolted for aven's changing room.
on the way back, i felt my tears start to spill and my breaths get heavy.
"hey evie, mom jus—what's wrong? MOM," aven yelled to get our mom out of the bathroom. i was hyperventilating at this point.
"logan...here...." i choked out between sobs.
i didn't think i'd react this way but, logan ruined my life. he spread fake screenshots and tried to flip the narrative on me. he made me look like the bad guy and i couldn't see why he'd even show up today.
" how, in gods name, did that piece of shit get here?" aven asked chase who she had on speaker.
"i don't know but matt and your dad are on their way to find him and take care of it. give evie a hug for me." he responded. "i love you. 30 minutes."
after they hung up and i calmed down, i touched up my makeup and smoothed my dress out.
right as i finished, we were given the signal that it was time.

"i do." aven said with the biggest smile on her face.

"i do." chase said, and kissed aven.
