I sigh.

"And that was suchhh a nice dream tooooo"

I sat up, and rubbed my eyes. I was pretty upset I woke up from such a nice dream. I dreamt of me being at a ball, dancing with a Prince. You know, sometimes I wish I wasn't such a hopeless romantic. They say love hits you when you're not even thinking about it, but the thing is.. I ALWAYS THINK ABOUT LOVE!!! But since I always think about love, does that mean I'm going to never find love??!! Oh gosh I'd hope not. However, I feel like today might be different? I don't know.. maybe I'm just delusional?

Whatever the case is I get out of bed, get ready, and eat my breakfast. I saw a note in the fridge from my mom, it said "Leaving on another business trip!! Love you!!" I sighed. When is she not on a business trip? I haven't seen her in weeks!! I miss her ; I quickly grabbed a toast and shoved it in my mouth, heading out to school.

After I arrived at my classroom, I took a seat beside the window. I never really had any friends, or ones that were real and stuck around, you know? Well nobody in my class really took me seriously, they called me Y/n the stupid hopeless romantic.

*RING RINGGGG*

The bell rang.

I felt the atmosphere change somehow? It felt more relaxed and caught me off guard. I heard the classroom door slide open, the teacher had arrived. But behind her there was a boy, he had dark hair, brown eyes, and a big smile on his face. I was staring at him intensely, trying to figure out who he was. Until it hit me, he's a new student of course!! I felt relieved, it felt good that there's someone here who didn't know about my stupid nickname or reputation!! But when I stared at him, he looked at me back and we made eye contact. He smiled at me!! I let out a small gasp and got completely flustered, once I realized my face turned a shade of light peachy pink, I quickly picked up a book on my table and covered my face with it. I don't understand how a stranger made me feel this way, I've only read about these type of scenarios in romance mangas or romance novels!! I'm pretty confused but I brush it off.

"Listen up class, this is your new student. Please be respectful, Kazehaya, introduce yourself please." The female teacher said.

"Sure!! My name is Kazehaya Shouta. I'm pleased to meet you all!! I hope we get along." He said with a smile.

He turned to the teacher, "Where should I sit?"

"Hmm... sit by that empty seat, beside that dark haired girl." The teacher responded, pointing at the seat beside mine.

Kazehaya nodded and walked towards the seat besides me, my jaw nearly dropped in shock. HE HAD TO SIT NEXT TO ME??? Is this some type of classic kdrama?? Well whatever the case is, I'll just cover my face with a book and avoid him. I'd probably get to nervous to talk to anyway, plus he'd probably think in weird or some type of nerdy weird otaku. After for what felt forever, he finally got to the seat next to me and sat down. He got settled, he took a glance at me. I noticed and took a glance at him back, we both made eye contact once again and I admittedly looked away, he chucked and smiled at me. He said, "So, since we are classmates I think we should get to know each-other, right?"

I nodded in agreement. He smirked and said, "Well for starters, what's your name?"

"Uh.. well my name is L/N Y/N." I say in a nervous tune.

He tilt his head and looked at me with a huge smile on his face, "You are pretty shy, aren't you?"

"I am..?"

"For sure!!" He took a glance at my book, "Is that the new romance novel everybody has been speaking about??!!" He pointed at my book.

My eyes lit up a bit. "Yea it is actually!! My friend's dad works at an bookstore and my friend saved this book for me as soon as it came out!! Isn't that cool?" I said very excitingly.

"For sure!!" He said.

After awhile of talking to each-other, a couple of boys asked he wanted to play soccer/football with them, he didn't really want to end our conversation but I told him I don't mind and for him to go have fun!!

Once school ended, I had to walk alone like always. I'm pretty much a loner and addicted to my phone and comics so I'm not surprised. As I put my outside shoes and started to walk out of the school building, I noticed Kazehaya and his friends walking together. Kazehaya looked really happy and was laughing in joy, I smiled because of how happy kazehaya looked. I wish I could be as happy as him. He noticed I was walking alone, he said goodbye to his friends and walked over towards me..
