It was a night that was louder than usual at the lackadaisy speakeasy. In fact, there was a crowd today! Wick sat at the bar, drowning himself in a Whisky.

Mitzi walked into the Lackadaisy, her eyes scanning the room until they landed on Wick, who was sitting at the bar. She made her way over and took a seat next to him."Evenin', Wick," Mitzi said, nodding at him.Wick turned to face her, a faint smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Evening, Mitzi. What brings you in tonight?"Mitzi leaned back on her stool and folded her arms, her eyes narrowing slightly. "I was just curious about something. You know, with this whole prohibition thing going on and all."Wick raised an eyebrow. "What about it?""Well, it seems to me that people are drinking more now than they ever did before," Mitzi said. "I mean, it's like the law just made it more exciting or something."Wick chuckled. "That's one way to look at it, I suppose. But let me tell you, Mitzi, it's not all fun and games. Running a speakeasy is a risky business these days."Mitzi's expression softened. "I can imagine. But it's not just about the money, is it? I mean, people are coming here because they don't want to give up their freedom to drink what they want."Wick nodded in agreement. "You're right about that. It's a matter of principle for a lot of folks."Mitzi took a sip of her drink, savoring the smooth burn of the whiskey. "It's a shame that the government is sticking its nose where it doesn't belong. People should be free to make their own choices, don't you think?"Wick nodded again, his gaze flickering around the room. "I couldn't agree more. But we have to be careful. The law is cracking down harder every day. We can't afford to get caught."Mitzi smiled wryly. "Don't worry about me, Wick. I know how to stay out of trouble. And besides, I think I like a little danger every now and then."Wick chuckled again, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I think you might be right at home here then, Mitzi." The two fell into a comfortable silence, listening to the soft murmur of conversation and the clink of glasses. Despite the danger and uncertainty of their situation, Mitzi felt a sense of freedom and rebellion that she had never experienced before. She knew that as long as she had Wick and the rest of the Lackadaisy crew by her side, she would be able to weather any storm.

"Hey, speaking of that, I need help." Mitzi said, breaking the silence. "What in the world wouldn't you need help with Mitzi?" Wick smiled. "The Lackadaisy needs a fresh supply of guns, types of guns that I cannot afford." "Oh, I bet you think I have aaaallll the money in the world to buy them, hm?" Wick said. "Oh— well if— it's fine I'll just—" Mitzi was taken back by Wicks lack of (Be a sweetheart and do what I say-ness). "It's fine, I'm joking Mitzi!" Wick laughed. "Well, I'm saying that tommorow you and Rocky need to go get guns for storage." "Alright, Sounds good, I'll go with him tomorrow." Wick finished the rest of his whiskey and started getting up. "No no no! Your staying here with me Wick!". Wick smiled and sat back down."I'm just gonna go grab my stuff from the car then, I'll meet you down here."

Wick got up and started heading towards the cellar. He past a poker table and crowd around it. Then he started heading up the stairs that went up to the cafe. *thump thump thump*. His footsteps were audible in the narrow stairway. *screeeaaak* he opened up the door and started heading out from behind the front desk. That was until he passed the broom closet.

He put his ear up to the door. He heard the sounds of what he thought was squealing or talking, or perhaps moaning. But he didn't exactly know. "Everyone okay in there?" He dared to ask. Then the muffled voice of Ivy Pepper was muffled through the door. "Oh uhh yeah— uh, uhm, yeah everything's fine." "Is there someone else in there with you Miss Pepper?" Wick asked Again. "Uhhh... NO?" She said suspiciously. "Okay, well, have a nice night!". Wick walked away from the door and headed out the front door of the cafe. But, he could swear that he heard a male voice in there.
